I really hope you do not use this workflow for videos that you want to edit. H264 is definitely not a good codec to work with in editing. If working on a Mac with Final Cut Pro as editing tool, use the Apple Pro Res codec, and if working with Final Cut Express use Apple Intermediate Codec. Reason for this is Pro Res and AIC is 1. Native files for the editing program that leads to less render and 2. H264 is highly compressed and you won't have the same information in your clips for eg. colorgrade

@traineraustin Suddenly I have been unable to download videos with mpeg streamclip...I have every component required to run the app...I receive a message "can't open file; error" everytime...this problem occured about a month ago. I went as far as uninstalling quicktime and mpeg2 component. Then I reinstalled both...still doesn't work. If anyone can help...I'd be very grateful, I'd even go as far as helping to promote your channel or possibly a product you might have, if you are able to help

It keeps only showing the audio, not the video. So the screen is black but the audio still works. HELP PLEASE!
