  • Omg where is the traffic lights? It is very dangerous for everybody to cross the street with vehicles infront of you like crazy. The governor should be ashamed of this ,with the big income of dumaguete city they can't put a traffic lights where is the money goes?lol nothing changes since I was there 13 years ago then i visit 3 years ago its the same no traffic lights, looks dangerous to me when i was viewing the vid.anyway thank you posting the vid ducthedpinay1.

  • yeah u can say that.. but since its a very very small city, u only cross when there are not much cars.. infact, accidents only happen like 2 times a year..only if u cross in the pedestrian lane :D

  • this doesn't only happen in dumaguete. you'll see this happening all over the country. This may seem dangerous but it's not. drivers are always on the look out for pedestrians crossing the road. but yeah, a little order and discipline would be nice. ^_^

  • normally, it is the drivers responsibility to give way the passers along the street without traffic light..not unless it is highway..passers there are more demanding and drivers think that driving is fragile...

  • gotta LOVE it.... there's no place like home. just hate the weather though. its way tooo humid!

  • agree/!

  • i love tHee PHILIPPINES....I LIVE IN DUMAGUETE!

  • bai bisaya diay ka??

  • hehehehe

  • OMG I can still remember this place even though I have not visited for the last 12 years

  • hay jollibee miss ko na sobra ang dumaguete

  • promise! maganda nga ung Robinsons doon kasi biggest in the Philippines..tapos sobrang laki ang grocery sa robinsons

  • this street is not really dangerous as you think. even if cars, motorcyles etc are synchronizing with those people still those vehicles cannot cause accident. if you will just observe their speed at 20 to 30 kph they can immediately brake when they encounter people crossing the street. so it's not what you think that those vehicle can ram those people who cross the street. right??? wrong???

  • i miss the Philippines so much.. hope to be there soon..

  • Gosh... I miss the Philippines meng. Like everybody just crosses the street with all those cars, pedicabs and motorcycles passing. TEEHEE.

  • i live in Dumaguete...

i survived from no traffic lights and "pedicabs" and I almost got hit by a car when I crossed the street to go to Lee Plaza!

  • If it in the U.S. they all would have been hit. hah

  • Dumaguete is the place of gentle people kaya impossible na maging tulad sa US ang dumaguete that people will get hit on the streets dahil WE DUMAGUETEÑOS ARE GENTLE PEOPLE!!!!

  • holy cow i forgot how people wer so brave to cross the street there....

  • i miss dumaguete........ang tawo dili pa lupig ug saktanan or pedicab...hehehehe

  • Ha ha. Traffic rules are merely suggestions--they are not really rules.

  • grabe...paugatay raman ang mga drivers og pedestrians dri oi

  • bisag asa paugatay man jud...even in manila...jay walkers are every where

  • @marygraciele haha..ako gani ky mulabang ko bsg walay pdestrian lane..mu give way rman pod ang mga sakyanan..hahahha

  • of course there are traffic rules, its just that some people are hard headed, lazy to cross along the pedestrian lane.

  • There is some kind of order to the chaos, though. I rode with my fiancee on her motorcycle through these streets. I would have run into someone if I drove, but she timed it just right.

  • Must be exciting to drive there. I wonder who is at fault if a collision happens.

  • Mostly they're running at about maybe 20 mph. So most of the drivers will have the time to react.

  • yeah no traffic rules, haha!

  • there arent really traffic rules...

  • Ive been there. What are the traffic rules in the city?

  • there's no traffic rules....you can even drink and drive lol
