  • If this promo was done more recently in the kind of economy we have now & with people out of work, Is there anyone(and I mean ordinary people not pro wrestlers) who wouldn't say no to Triple H's offer--for real, not scripted?

  • @buster560 yea but what other fan would say they got mauled by Goldberg and survived. It would have been a painful, big balls move but fun. Thats a story you tell your kids.

  • I wonder if any fans tried to jump him lol

  • A student of the game. Straight up Harley Race, minus the name calling.

  • Reminds me of the time Bobby Heenan offered cash to anyone who can take out "Mr.Wonderful" Paul Orndorff.

  • What an AWESOME promo! This is how a great promo is cut; the way promos are cut these days is awful. This Goldberg-Triple H feud was actually quite amazing and deserves to be etched in the annals of WWE history along with all the memorable feuds.

  • I remember I went to house show in MSG and it was during this storyline. Me and a large group of people were thinking of jumping the railing and attacking Goldberg to see if Triple H would actually pay us or at least we'd get put on TV lol. I like Goldberg but I wanted money.

  • @PUNISHERWarzone87 lol Goldberg would have destroyed you fools!

  • awesome heel promo!

  • I'm surprised Alberto Del Rio & Ted Jr. haven't had 2 do this type of storyline as of yet...maybe Miz &/or Riley having a bounty out on Morrison so 2 take him out from being at WM27 when he wins the ROYAL RUMBLE 2011...

  • Great ode to Harley Race.

  • @WillHear432 Bobby Heenan also had a bounty out on Paul Orndorff back in the day as well.

  • thats how money in the bank got started i bet.

  • goldberg has a lot to learn as champion, but he was wcw champion while triple h needed chyna to help him win the ic title. *also note the boring chants. yess!!

    RAW in 2003 = fail.

  • @TheSirMittens mind you my first sentence was looking back at 1998,forgot to type that...whoops!

  • This is HHH copying what Harley Race did, posting a bounty on Ric Flair.

  • @jblcn1042 Not to mention the "Harley Race-like high knee" (- J.R). That's before my time though. I found the video of Race putting out his bounty: youtube.com/watch?v=6pfkam4NOjY

Did anyone collect? How did it go? Did Flair go through a few pretenders like Goldberg? I enjoyed watching all those people come after Goldberg.

  • @jblcn1042 I found out who claimed the bounty, but do you know if there were others who came first? Did the angle spread over a few weeks, or was Flair taken out straight away?

  • Triple H is a fucking baller, hes been in the WWE for so long!

  • could you imagine if one fan took this too seriously and actually "took out" Goldberg...man would Vince be fucked haha

  • radavis why don't you and your father suck triple h's dick faggot.

  • Radivis why don't you suck triple h's beard bitch for the victory

  • @predator265 How 'bout YOU shut the fuck up!

  • Learned it?

  • I hope no one forgot that this is all a performance and actually took HHH's bounty seriously. That would be bad.

  • triple h is the best wrestler ever!!!

  • Triple H looks so young without the beard.

    And he is so cool

  • nah he looks better with tha beard

  • @sabio26 He looks sexy with the beard he has now--the one he had in 1999 looked horrible.

  • @radavis76 Those 2 are the same?

  • @MrDxstuff Yes.

  • the game got interested when he killed your ass in unforgiven bitch boy, i got tired seeing you every single year holding that belt you faggot.

  • @predator265 I bet seeing him win the belt back at "Armageddon 2003" really burned you from the inside out, though. I don't blame you.

  • Triple H is one of the best heels of WWE, great work here, kinda like the slick villain in most movies out there

  • he owns he is the type of heel that manipulates he adapts and over comes he is the game the king of kings the cerebral assasin Triple H

  • @Nindz81

he was a great villian in blade trinity

  • @Nindz81 He reminds me of a mob boss in this

  • @damyria99 yeah - a bastard in the coolest way possible :o)

  • @damyria99 Better, this reminds me of Tony "Scarface" Montana or any movie with a great mafia boss in it...

  • @1979starscream "The last time you gonna see a bad guy like this again, let me tell you. Come on. Make way for the bad guy. There's a bad guy comin' through! Better get outta his way!" Well Tony sums up Triple H with that quote.

  • @Nindz81 Yeah, that's true. Though Triple H's $100,000 bounty on Goldberg was also influenced by the rivalry between two of his in-ring heroes (Harley Race put out a $25,000 bounty on Ric Flair back in the NWA.).

  • I thought Triple H was an ass back then...

  • Did batista get the money?

  • yeah

  • @sheemobile yea

  • yeah

  • @sheemobile Yeah, he did.

  • i liked triple h better as a heel

  • This was when Triple H was good, he annoyed me because he always won, but i was glad that Goldberg came to raw and became World Champion, because he was the only man that could beat Triple H on Raw at the time.

  • TRIPLEH IS THE BEST !!!!!!

  • Wonder if some hardcore fan actually shot Bill in the leg outside of the arena and then wanted the money from Trips!

  • Moves like this are what solidified Triple H as "the Cerebral Assassin". He could have used his "stroke" in the WWE to get rid of Goldberg, but he decided to carry BG, until he outlived his usefulness (which didn't take long). I thought this vignette was funny, especially for its candor. Triple H. Its why he is ALWAYS, THAT DAMN GOOD!!

  • I wouldve liked to take out Goldberg with some kind of baseball bat then lol

100k on sb. thats a nice hitcontract

  • its scripted, its not real

  • Batista got the bounty.

  • damn i could have used that money right about now lol

  • 25 K to take out Goldberg?...The things I'd do for Money..XD

  • Triple H hundred thousand dollar mania!!! LMAO.

  • True, I just went back to the video of Harley taking a hit out on Flair and your right, it was 25,000 back than. Your also right that it is common for storylines to be recycled. This used to be a big practice during the monday night wars, but is hardly done today. Why haven't any of the good ones from the past been recycled lately? Your right, nWo, DX, they're all rip offs of the 4 Horsemen in one way or another, in ways they're different to make them current, but the original idea is there.

  • yeah I remember this promo and dame I wish in the WWE then because I'd take that bounty.

  • fuking pussy the dildo is scared

  • Great... but not original. Harley Race took out a bounty of the same amount on Flair decades ago. Still great TV

  • Actually Harley Race put out 25,000 and Vince did it to Austin in the attitude era. Its not uncommon to recycle storylines in wrestling. How many times have people copied the Four Horsemen.

  • Don't forget JJ Dillon put a$10K & $50K bounties on the Midnight Rider
