  • hahahahha!

  • This is sick :)

  • haha our scirence class lold to this as well XD haha good times...

  • Okazaki made me laugh like a loon. Thank you so much for this video — was going over the course spec for my exam tomorrow and it turns out that I have to know DNA replication, but lo and behold all my notes on the subject had vanished. This video is my saviour. Thanks, guys!

  • uracil won't be alone in RNA . . .

  • This video makes me want to defenestrate my laptop

  • Fun, cute, and helpful. People who giggle a lot form a DOUBLE SQUEALIX instead of a double helix. (humor helps you think about really complicated information).

  • what is this south park biology?!

  • After that animation this serious caution at the end, which is in scientific language is just ridiculous! :D

  • this is so weird!

  • I can't understand the purple triangle thing- haha!

  • That was SO scary and didn't make any sense, but I loved it.

  • I can't stand Adenine's voice! haha

  • really good but voices aren't clear

  • whats with the high pitch vioce so annoying

  • ahaha oh man love it!

  • why does adenine sound like cartman from south park?

  • the voices are horrible!!! but i like it! cute :)

  • hell yes!

  • *coughs awquardly again*

these charCTORS ARE ON METH, CRACK AND ANY OTHER DRUS AVAILABLE AT WALMART

  • the video waws awesome but could have been better if we could hear what ademine was saying very nice though

  • credits were hilarious. The rest... I guesss you kinda had to be there...

  • that was so creepy

  • so nerdy lol.

how do you guys make the cartoon?

like what program did you use to make it?

    really creative idea :)

  • I jumped a little at the beginning when the lion roared.

  • it's well done except for the computerized voice which kinda ruins it cuz it's really fuck annoying.

  • my favorite part of the video is to watch uracil cry in the credits....

  • No idea what happened there

  • I'm "In the Mood" for Biology ;)

  • Congradulations to all of you who worked on this animated science video.

I am working on my second animated science video and it is great to see someone else working on something similar. I will upload my video soon.

Thanks for the inspiration and keep it up

  • haha U SUCK no hydrogen bonding with Adenine for you Uracil ! haha

  • my biology teacher made us watch this, very cute, for once we were paying attention

  • Um, can you fix adenine's voice? I cannot understand what he's saying. At all.

Otherwise, great job! Really helped me understand! :)

  • LOL

  • LOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL

  • Good Job!!! thanks for adding the script. this was very informative.

  • what the actual faak

  • wtf is with the squicky voice?

  • Poor little Uracil. is it a prymidine?

  • This video clip visually is good but the sound tracking it is very annoying and sometimes difficult to understand due to the voices used. Would not recommend to anyone, as in general it is a waste of valuable study time

  • that felt like i was learning bio after drinking 3 espresso shots---- reminds me of alvin and the chipmunks.

  • hallo what's the name of the beginning song?

  • poor uracilo :(( LOL

  • the first part is creepy weird

  • You forgot to mention DNA polymerase I, an enzyme which replaces RNA nucleotides of the primer with the DNA nucleotides (all except the last one, this is essentially why DNA ligase is needed to connect the Okazaki fragments into one continuous strand). Topoisomerase, enzyme that relieves the strain just next to the replication fork due to uncoiling of the double helix, was also not mentioned. Other than that good job!

  • hahahahaha poor Uracil! this is great!

  • It's good but those voices are retarded..

  • cutee ^^

buh this doesnt help me 4 with my understanding however i enjoyed watching :)

  • hehe thx this made me laugh during my boring exam studies :P

  • hahaha

  • urm ... 1:03 - wtff ??

  • adenine is so cute like the chipmunks voice

  • nice

  • sdad

  • ¬¬

  • poor uracil :'(

  • because of this video, my teacher assigned us a project to make video like this TT

  • We realize that the video is a little hard to understand at times. In the info section (right under the video -- click the drop-down box), we've included the script for the second half of the video. Hope this helps!

  • @lienamante329 great video

  • now i understand what the replication proces is, thnk you!

  • Lol poor Uracil.

  • why the timina it`s so stupid???

  • cant understand wat Adenine is saying

  • 1:03 WTF?! hahaha Despite being quite silly this was both entertaining and educational. I was ENTERCATIONAL!!!

  • crazy cats

  • crazy cats

  • I founded very useful. hahaha It helped me a lot, I couldn't understand what was the okazaki fragment before. But it's reaally hard to understand what adenine says hahahah

  • my class watched this video on the lesson xDD

    everyone laughed :D

  • Voices are to often inaudible.

  • Cute.

    But doesnt explain everything.

  • lol its cute and informative

but i dont understand a thing the adenine

    character is saying :S

  • this is so cute! i actually understand dna replication now, and hopefully i'll ace the test(: make more cartoons, please! :D

  • We watched this is Biology O.O"

  • Me too! My teacher loved this!

  • this made my ENTIRE bio class laugh loudly when we watched this today! INCLUDING the teacher! he's going to use it every year now! XD its an awesome cartoon!

  • wierd

    but made snse:P

  • this is so random

  • That's funny!

  • Anyone know what the song at the beginning is called?

  • wth... how can u even care about the music when u r here for gaining scientific knowledge?

  • "In the Mood," originally by the Glenn Miller Orchestra. :D

  • hehe...... ASS-id

  • i love this is so cute, but kind of scary

  • omg is so cute, but i think this DNA stuff gets kind of complicated

  • lmao

  • all by myself? :D uhmmm

  • Uracil always gets a bad rap.

  • i love love love it when people make science fun!

  • Uracil replaces adedine, so it pairs with thymine.

  • LOLOL

  • i love it!! im takin a quiz on this tommorrow, so this helped :)

  • THat is soo cute. AWESOME VIDEO!!! poor uracil. but how come it went to thymine? wasnt it supposed to go to adenine?

  • uracil replaces thymine, which eventually leads on to things like , UAG & UAA

  • Cool vid! It really helped me to understand replication better.

  • the voice of adenine is cute but a little hard to understand. other than that it was perfect for my homework assignment.

  • adenine has such an annoying voice

  • this is cute and helpful!

  • poor little uracil!!!

  • Great video

  • Excellent!!! I love it!

  • omg hahahaa. Love dna replication haha.

  • what's the name of the song in the start

  • i have the biggest boner right now...

  • That was enjoyable and cute :)

  • it's really funny, this monday i've and exam of this part of the cell and when i wathed this video i started laughing a lot. poor uratil(L)

    okazaki extremely cool! hahahaha

  • im gonna slap the shit outta adenine, i cant understand a word he is saying!

  • What was that little pink thing at 2:03 replacing the RNA Primer?

  • the pink thing is an enzime called DNA Helicase, but there's no RNA primer. The DNA Helicase unwinds the DNA helix.

  • ihih

  • The voices need to be easier to understand, since there are part which I've played 5x over and still couldn't make out what they were saying... that aside, was a really cute video

  • cute... but you can't understand what they are saying. The voices are awful!

  • this is some fucking scary shit right here

  • LOL

Thymine looks like a complete idiot

  • LOL

  • very very nice! it helped on my exam! just one question. What's the name of the swing rithm song that sounds in the beggining? jeje =)

  • Poor uracil....

    He's so alone.... :(

  • Loved it but it was practically inaudible with the purple nitrogenous base talking lol

  • thnkx a ton! i like it was explained

  • Can't understand "A"! But has great potential.

  • Baha, Celine Dion ending.. that's great.

  • the voices should be a bit clearer... to make it more understandable ! :)

  • Same here. Weirdly, after reading an accurate comic about DNA replication, this sounds a little clearer.

  • you lose the meaning in the silliness

  • U represents Uracil ( it replaces T in Rna)

  • U stands for Uracil

  • This was really cute

    What does "U" represent??

  • U stands for Uracil

  • U is uracil. It is only in RNA and pairs with adenine. It takes the place of thymine.

  • Uracil- the compliment to Adenine in RNA

  • great work. MGM pictures.

  • This is undoubtedly the most helpful video I have ever seen!!! Thank you SO much!!!! :D
