  • Hey Mr. Eriksen, You were at my school today! Your singing, lyrics, and playing are terrific and masterfully done. Thanks for stopping by.

  • @phsycopath123 Hey- nice to meet you. Glad you're enjoying the music!

  • I love that the video didn't end when the song ended; the waterfall was given its own time to speak :)

  • I miss the eastern woodlands.

    Great place, great performance.

  • @batfancy Tim -- Your choice to play not only IN nature but WITH nature or as an accompaniment to the sounds of the natural world is moving and thought-provoking.

Which digital recoder do you use? Do you get this sound quality solely from the microphone on your video camera or do you augment it? Do you muffle the mike in any way to keep wind out?

Thank you -- all of these are wonderful.

  • @tannsolo well I love making music with whatever's going on around. I do have a little mic that attaches to the camera, but for this one I just used the one that's built in-seems to work ok unless there's way too much else going on...

  • I'm pretty sure that I account for about 300 of the 6,500 views lol

  • The water sounds are very hypnotic - thank you for this!

  • Well, thank you for treating your (wonderful) voice as an instrument and not as a power to levitate your ego.

  • nice transpo to folk, works really well!

  • awesome video love the brook

  • hey : ) great song.. what kind of tuning do you use?

  • approximately BbFCFGC capoed to wherever I feel like at the moment...

  • So nice to hear you strumming/singing around here in MA. Lovely as usual....

  • Hey Tim, excellent singing and playing. Loking forward to ur other vids.

  • Such deserved beautiful comments from everyone...What tuning are you using?

  • I appreciate it-thanks. The tuning is BbFCFGC

  • Obviously, you were made to sing this song and it was made to be sung by you. I want to crawl inside of it but I don't think I should stay sad that long.

  • Just lovely, Tim. Spring awakens my own memories of careless love.

  • I like the song; I also love the setting in which you chose to sing it. And I loved that you just let us watch and listen to the brook at the end. Very beautiful, calming and hypnotic.

  • you should do your next video up at the horse caves near the Notch, might be some cool acoustics with your banjo or fiddle. I really enjoyed this one, thanks.

  • Tim, you are a true artist in its purest sense.

  • So pretty--both the song and the place. At first I thought it was Holland Glen in Belchertown, but your notes say Amherst.

  • Oh--Amethyst Brook--that's a beautiful place, too.

  • Beautiful Timmy; one of my favorites of yours. -Rosie

  • It's funny, it wasn't one of my favorite songs on the CD, but I really really like this version.

    -Laura

  • 1 year later: cool. Me too. It could have been Louie Louie or Ace of Spades in a way. Something familiar and strange against a backdrop like that.
