@batfancy Tim -- Your choice to play not only IN nature but WITH nature or as an accompaniment to the sounds of the natural world is moving and thought-provoking.
Which digital recoder do you use? Do you get this sound quality solely from the microphone on your video camera or do you augment it? Do you muffle the mike in any way to keep wind out?
@tannsolo well I love making music with whatever's going on around. I do have a little mic that attaches to the camera, but for this one I just used the one that's built in-seems to work ok unless there's way too much else going on...
Obviously, you were made to sing this song and it was made to be sung by you. I want to crawl inside of it but I don't think I should stay sad that long.
I like the song; I also love the setting in which you chose to sing it. And I loved that you just let us watch and listen to the brook at the end. Very beautiful, calming and hypnotic.
you should do your next video up at the horse caves near the Notch, might be some cool acoustics with your banjo or fiddle. I really enjoyed this one, thanks.
Hey Mr. Eriksen, You were at my school today! Your singing, lyrics, and playing are terrific and masterfully done. Thanks for stopping by.

I love that the video didn't end when the song ended; the waterfall was given its own time to speak :)

Well, thank you for treating your (wonderful) voice as an instrument and not as a power to levitate your ego.

Just lovely, Tim. Spring awakens my own memories of careless love.

Tim, you are a true artist in its purest sense.

So pretty--both the song and the place. At first I thought it was Holland Glen in Belchertown, but your notes say Amherst.

Oh--Amethyst Brook--that's a beautiful place, too.

It's funny, it wasn't one of my favorite songs on the CD, but I really really like this version.

1 year later: cool. Me too. It could have been Louie Louie or Ace of Spades in a way. Something familiar and strange against a backdrop like that.
