Kara Zor-El, brought to Earth in 1958 when Argo City was mortally damaged by a meteor shower, adopted by her cousin yet placed in the Midvale orphanage, taking the name Linda Lee, later adopted by rocket scientist Robert Danvers and becoming Linda Lee Danvers; innocent, cheerful, yet able to stop a freight train, she was killed in battle and then ERASED from history as DC comics entered the modern era. Both Helen Slater and later Laura Van Der Voort captured her iconic look perfectly.
