I think this movie's about living your life for yourself and no one else. At the start she was miserable and she changed it to be happy. I don't think anyone has the right to tell you how to live your life, and I've always thought families who are desperate to get their kids to only breed in their own kind have a primitive mentality. Your kids shouldn't feel obligated to do anything to make you happy.

@astarla12 American oddly find Italians and Greeks similar. In apearance and personality. I'm Greek and my friend is Italian. Our famalies are freakishly similar, only Nia exxagerated on the lamb eyeballs we don't do that. Of course on New Years everyone cheats for the coin in the cake because it's supposed to bring good luck. Our name means, "Big Head" in Greek. So while watching this I CAN relate.
