It's swing music from the 40's. The dance is an 8 count lindy hop and I don't know them but I am a dancer too. I can say it is most likely NOT choreographed at all and just impromptu. Beginners wanting to do this - you can - but give yourselves time.  Less coordinated? It's your wedding don't opt for so much pressure do the 6 cound swing! You'll impress your friends and not be stressed out.

If you go social Swing dancing semi-regularly (1-2x a month), you can pick it up in about 6 months and be near their level. For gents, it's mostly about knowing where your lady's weight is, and once you have that down you can make up as many tricks as you want. For the ladies, it's all about finding the right balance of arm tension and trust to let yourself follow your partner. IT'S SO MUCH FUN!!!!

WOW!!!!!!!!! This is one first dance that no one will ever forget. The groom is terrific, but the bride is amazing!
