That's a pretty decent price for an SM57. Does that include fiting from the man himself?

Bass side by your left hand, facing towards you so it's easy to plug the lead in and out of.

Some people put it at the bottom of the Dhol but I think it's hard to control the lead if it's under there and everyone can see it.

Either is fine Gurkirat but I use an SM57. They both have the same pick up range but are fitted with different heads. i.e. one had a mouth guard the other doesn't.
