  • It's because you did not bond with him

  • WHERE DID YOU GET THATPOUCH

    what is it called

can you buy it at amazon

  • @arianaab123 Hehe, i got it from a shop here in Malaysia :'( I'm not sure whether they sell it on Amazon. You can try searching it up ;) It's a Domo pouch.

  • you talk weird

  • @theturtleman09 Lol, do I? :P

  • I'd like to meet YOUR sugar glider one day.

  • @NinjaAntx Lol. I'm sure Floofie would love to meet you too! ;)

  • @toejoe333 Search of on Facebook under "Quikbold Petshop". They cost RM55 :D

  • The domo one!

  • Where did you get his pouch? I really like it! Please answer back!

  • @toejoe333 I got it from an online shop here in Malaysia ;D

  • Hey Alisya,

I'm from Malaysia,KL ...i just recently got two sugar gliders, i don't suppose you can show how your cage looks like and where i might be able to get a suitable large cage? *i made this youtube account just so I can ask you this question*

  • @BenKaugustin Hello :) Oh yes, I'll definitely be doing a video on Floofie's little bungalow soon lol. For suggies, the mininum requirement of the cage should 3 ft in height. Of course, the bigger the better. A shop at Ikano Power Centre near The Curve sells them. It's called "Pet Safari". I just saw it last week selling for RM260 or so for a whole cage set which includes the vines and pouch and all. You should definitely check it out! They also sell suggies stuff from pouches, treats, etc :D

  • @Alisyalicious Oh alright...So that cage u are talking about at ikano is specifically for sugar gliders then?i'll go check it out when i have time and when my pay comes in.ikano isn't near to my place as i live in Puchong.Mind if i add you on facebook? at the moment im really interested in getting a huge cage and wanting to decorate it with toys.I failed as a dad to the suggies i recently just found out that both my suggies are females (all this while i thought one was a boy)

  • @BenKaugustin Yes, I saw it there while i was there, hopefully it still is! Another option is 'Pet Shack' in Sunway Mentari ;) So sorry I don't know any shops around your area :'(

  • Okay, so, I have a really nice tip for you!

I have 4 gliders, and I've been around gliders for a long time, so I know what I'm talking about, ANYWHO, do NOT feed your glider kibble! please D: Only yogies, mealworms, crickets, fruits, and veggies! :D

  • @dreamera1 Haha no worries, i dont give him kibbles anymore! He noms on mealworms now, his favorite! <3

  • How loud is their barking?

I really really want to get a pair of the same gender, but I'm worried about the barking, given that they're nocturnal, if they make any noise during sleep time, my parents won't allow me to get them :\

  • @gaiolinn The don't bark often, only once in awhile. But just going out to them and stroking them for a bit will stop them :) For me, I think he only barks like, perhaps once a month? Lol. And their bark is kinda loud, but in a cute way :D

  • @Alisyalicious But isn't the barking like..a form of comunication? If it is, wouldn't having a pair most likely give them more reasons to do it?

I want to get a pair because I heard that, since they're nocturnal, they get lonely being alone during the night, hence my worries :P

    Thanks for replying :)

  • @gaiolinn Nope, they don't really make sounds lol. They just run around or snuggle with one another hehe. But i think the noise they make should be the least of your concern :P

  • They all bite and nip!

  • @funki6daysaweek Yes, their bites can be painful too, ow! D:

  • hye, where did you buy that bonding pouch and how much it cost? im from malaysia.

  • @hayraWEWO Search of on Facebook under "Quikbold Petshop". They cost RM55 :D

  • where did u get your bonding pouch?

  • @kris10wils0n I bought it from an online shop in Malaysia :) Hehe

  • @Alisyalicious I live in the U.S. and your domo pouch is to die for so can i order it and get it delivered here to where i am?

  • @YoshiCrazy98 Aww, I'm so happy to know that you're getting a glider soon! I'm sure you'll be a GREAT OWNER! Some people tend to neglect their gliders after awhile which is really sad :'( Hehe yes, I dont think i'll be getting another one, i tried putting him in a cage with my friend's gliders, they ended up fighting :O Eeek! Poor Floofie :( Btw, are you planning on getting a male or a female? :D

  • If I got a sugar glider, is it okay if he's/she's alone for the period of time I'm at school? Will it start biting and not eating if it gets no attention? Please respond asap!!

  • @Techkid131 Oh sure, that wouldn't be a problem! They sleep during the day anyways :) Once you come home you can play with him/her, I'm sure he/she will be waiting for you to come home to play with them! Hehe

  • @crazychic200923 if you don't interact with the sugar glider at all it may start doing some strange things such as biting, not eating, ect..

  • What is the name of the breeder? Like, Did you buy him offline?

  • @crazychic200923 I found a seller, he breeds them hehe. :) Can't quite remember :(

  • @Alisyalicious Also, I just heard about this...If you only have one sugar glider will he/she get lonely and eat its own limbs?

  • @crazychic200923 @Pieceshtcar97 I've heard people saying how they will get depressed if you don't give them attention, since they are social animals. But i'm not quite sure about that :( But to be safe, of course give your gliders lots and lots of loooove! :D

  • Have you ever been caught with him at a store?

  • @xgirl98 Hehe. Well, not really. But I've brought him in the cinema a couple of times before lol. Once, while watching a movie, he made some noise. It was so funny! The girl beside me was looking around weirdly :P I don't think it's wrong to bring them around with you in stores, they're asleep most of the time anyways x)

  • omg, i wanna have one :)

  • @NedzHoney You shouulddd. They're so cute & make great companions <3

  • What online store did you buy the online pouch? I've looked everywhere.

  • @Alisylicious Oh, and what pellet food do you use for him, and his diet etc? Thanks for all you help!:D ~

  • @RandomlyLegend I feed Floofie with kibble pellets that the breeder gave me :) It's already been 4 months and i'm still not done with it! Lol. As for his diet, we have to keep it at an overall calcium:phosphorous ratio of 1.5-2:1. Hehe, I've just placed a link on the info bar! :D Check out the safe foods & vegetables list and its calcium & phosphorous amount :P Also, I feed him HPW everyday <3

  • @Alisyalicious Oh nooo!;) I couldn't find the site, as I live in EnglandD: ahh well:P & hooray for Floofie reaching manhood!;) Does this mean he will start to mark his territory now? Im getting a female hopefully, If I can find a breeder... They're so hard to find in the UK:'( Ive already ordered the cage, toys and such!:Dwoooo! • @Alisyalicious I just saw a previeous comment, so I went ahead and checked out the facebook site, but its not in English:-( & I couldn't find a web site! Darn, I so wanted one of those puches! lol :')

  • @RandomlyLegend Thank youuu~ So glad you're getting a lil suggie soon yay! Aw, did you search under people or page? Yupp, the people there talks in Malay lol. But you can view the pictures. The pouch when converted costs around 17USD ;) I did write on their wall asking whether they ship internationally. Once I get a reply, I'll be sure to inform u! <3

  • @Alisyalicious Hi!:-) Im thinking of getting a sugar glider, so I loved watching this video, thankyou!:-) I was just wondering where you got your bonding pouch from/did you make it? Thanks for your help!:-D

  • anyone who is interested in getting joeys or getting adults gliders just go to HOOBLY.COM and search for a city or state in the US and you'll come to hundreds of breeders. Pocket Pets aren't my first option on getting a joey; i suggest doing some research first. all four of my gliders are from breeders of that website around my area some would even sell you a cage and other things like toys and sometimes food. so good luck :)

  • right now im bonding with my sugar glider he's so crazy! hahaha hey where did you got that pouch!? thanks

    mines 3 months

  • @isaicandanoza Haha tell me about it! The first few weeks of bonding with him takes a lot of patience x) Lol. I got the bonding pouch from an online blogshop, I LOVE IT! Other normal pouches are so plain and boring.

  • hello , how u get along with ur glider ? and is the bit harmful ?, and how u clean it

  • @FelfiLoh Helloooo. Hehe no they are not harmful, their bites are painless, but if they are angry or still new to you, their bite might draw some blood lol. But it's not THAT painful :) I clean them by using a spray shampoo and wiping them with a cloth, so they smell good and yummy! You can bond with them in various ways - play with them often, bring them out in a bonding pouch, all these to make sure they get used to your scent. They bond by scent :)

  • Hi, I am interested in getting one and see sooooo many different opinions on the one particular breeder (pocket pets) what is your opinion?

  • @lovelink0317 I suggest buying them from a breeder that you know for a fact takes good care of gliders. Local breeders especially as they are a lot healthier and cheaper! However, I just read a few reviews on Pocket Pets, and I've only seen nasty things :O Eeeeek. Buy from sellers who breeds suggies with love, not for business. :)

  • Hey :D Omg I'm gonna be getting a sugarglider soon & I really wanna know what online site you got your sugar glider pouch from because I really wanna get one :P its too cute :3 message back asap hehe

I love sugar gliders they are Sooo adorable :3 also you should make sure he pees & poops before you let him play on you lol

  • @silversaphiremoon Helloooooo! :D Yaaaayyy for future suggie parent! Lol. I got my pouch from Quikbold PetShop (just search it up on Facebook). Tons of cute pouches! :3 Not sure whether they ship out internationally or not though :(

Can't wait for you to get your lil suggie! <3

  • are you planning on getting another one or just keeping one?

  • @LFNemo12708 I want to get another, but I'm scared I'm not able to take care of both :(

  • @Alisyalicious I COMPLETELY understand. I only wanted one, which I did get. I've had her about a little over 2 months. She will be a year in November, and is a rescue. Luckily, I was GIVEN a joey that is 8-10 wks oop. I just got him 3 days ago. He is VERY crabby. He is a boy, and I don't want him getting my girl prego! t's a little difficult having them in separate cages, but she seems happier just to have a neighbor, and Her being happy is very important to me. Plus, there HAS to be 30 days apart

  • @LFNemo12708 Oh woww, so you have them both in separate cages? That must take up a lot of space :( I'm still contemplating to get another one. Hehe!

  • Sugar Gliders are colony animals, if the other one you get, is weaned, and out of pouch, they'll do fine together. Its rare that they'd hurt each other. The most that would happen is they might compete for you love for awhile haha. But they'll bond to each other and become best friends. But its not true that they can die from depression, or loneliness. A single glider can be kept, but you must give it TONS of love and attention to be happy. For most ppl, its easier with 2, becuz they play togeth

  • @Raught19 I have a friend whose gliders don't get along. So he had to separate them in a few different cages lol. I'm trying my best to give him as much love as I can, but he keeps pee-ing and pooping everywhere, it's hard to have him out most of the time :(

  • @Alisyalicious

Have you tried watching the Vet's video on potty training? It might be helpful. Don't give up on your little suggie :D

You haven't had him for long either. it does take time to have a trained sugar glider. Its not an easy pet, but very rewarding. Watch the Vet's videos, hes spot on with a lot of things. And if you use a PVC coated cage, get rid of it XD they've been toxic the last couple months for a lot of suggies.

  • @Raught19 Oh wow, I just watched the video and will definitely try to start potty training my lil baby! Thank you so much for sharing! :D

  • @Alisyalicious Any time :D i don't actually have sugar gliders myself. but I've researched them greatly XD I'll be getting 2 for my gf and I to raise in October :)

Keep in touch, let me know how your little suggie is doing! :D

  • @Raught19 I tried to start the potty train just now, and it totally worked! He automatically released everything lol. Hooray! ;) But i guess he secretly kept some inside him to let out on me on purpose after a few minutes.. Lol. Ohh, yesss can't wait for you to get them! They're such great pets <3 <3 :D

  • Thumbs up up if you think a lot of videos start with, " Hey guys!"

  • @blamchin Lol. So true :P

  • where can i get the sugar glider???how much???

  • @farouqayouq You can get them at pet stores, but they're selling them for RM380 each. I suggest you get them from a breeder. Better taken care of & cheaper :) 200+ i think.

  • @petsticklesgirls1 My pleasure love! :)
