I discovered this song a few days ago and I LOVE IT.I love all his music and i go see him ever time i can but this song it has something special.I lost my maw maw in april she was from catahoula(st. martin parish)and she spoke the cajun french.it just touches my heart to listen to it . She would have loved it to.

I am in the U.S. Navy, and have been for the past 16 1/2 years. I have been back home only a hand full of times. I retire Jan 24, 2015, then I am coming home, where this cajun boy belongs. On my daddy's side, i am cajun and spanish, and my mothers side, cherokee and finish(finland). but my cajun blood is stronger than anything else. I am on my way to afghanastan, i cant wait to get back, so I can go home. I miss home. yall that are there, hold it down, till dis cajun boy gets back home.
