I love gears of war. It was the first game in my opinion to really get into the gritty dirty side of war, and has one of the best and simplest cover mechanisms ever devised. The campaign mode was great and multiplayer was brilliant. All the maps are well designed and the weapons balanced (Though the sniper's been downing me a lot recently).
