    Godspeed,

    Capt Ben

  • I really have to stop watching your vids.....I HATE being stationed overseas even more now :(

  • i caught one bigger off shore in the ocean off matagorda bay mine was 43 inch and 53 lbs

  • That's a big Redfish. I caught one in Galveston in about 2 and a half feet of water during a low tide that maxed out a 35 pound boga that I'm guessing weighed 40 pounds. I was wade fishing for trout and a saw its back above the water so i casted my spoon in front of it and set the hook. It didn't give much of a fight though because of the water.

  • Had one that was 30 lb. lost it cause the line got wrapped around a crab trap buoy.

  • absolute monster. killer vids as usual!

........check out my texas redfish on the fly vid.........

  • that thing is a pig.

  • dude just caught my second BIG drum it was 48 inches btw im 14

  • awesome job dude

  • thats a shark,not a fish! :P

  • capt chancey what is your boat? i live in NSB and i think i have seen you before? yours wrapped?

  • You probably saw Capt Eric Mannino

  • yeah ive seen him twice...and what ive seen i dont like.

  • Lordy Lordy...what a fish.

  • We are going Bay fishing in Destin in 2 Weeks.....Im psyched!!!

  • nice fish man

you should try fly fishing sometime though

  • i want to go fishing with him

  • All it takes is $500-$1000 and a way to FL

  • 3" New Penny is all I use, and nailed a nice 27" here on West Coast of FL today!

  • wow !! nice fish !

  • That was a monster bull red! What was her length? I fish the Texas coastal bend 3 or 4 times a year. The slot for reds in Texas is from 20 to 28 inches. You can keep 1 over 28" but you must tag it to be legal. I think it's best to throw the bulls back. They're better off making babys and it's not great table fare. Boat record is a 42" and my personal best was a 39" Awesome guys!

  • I think he estimated it at 46 or 47 inches. She bottomed out the Boga Grip with no problem. We don't have a trophy exception for any fish in FL but we used to. Thanks for watching.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • ahhh man I don't know were to find those big fish I have been fishing since I moved to FL on Edgewater (Indian River) and the only big fish I have caught are a 21" red fish and a 16" Pompano I need big fish!!!!!!!!!!!

  • Just do a search for Captain Eric Mannino. He can take you out on a charter and show.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • nice, luv it keep em comin'

  • I'm not familiar with saltwater fishing,so is that fish as good eating as it is beautiful?

  • The smaller ones you can keep but not these big ones.

  • Why is it that you can only keep the smaller one's is it law or do you just not like keeping monsters

  • It's the law here in Florida and most southern states.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • that is BIG for a redfish thanks one more time

  • nice catch there capt ben

  • man that's big fish. 5stars

  • woah, that redfish is HUGE

  • i love your videos but i think you feature the goliath grouper a little to much im not trying to start an arguement and im not telling you how to make you videos but i think id be cool to see some more variety. still 5/5

  • I understand what you are saying. However, if you compare it to bass fishing. 90 percent of the freshwater fishing you see on TV features 1 to 5 pound bass. We are catching 100 to 600 pound fish in just a little more time than they are catching much smaller. The Goliath shows receive a heck of a lot more views than the other species. Thanks for watching and rating.

    Regards,

    Capt Ben

  • u guys rock

  • awesome!
