Batman is more than a guy who uses gadgets. His powers of observations would have helped him defeat the jedi. Hell, he could have probably figured out how to use the force himself during the battle and then Macgyvered himself a light saber with the few resources he had or something. And, once he's learned the force, his reflexes are far more honed than any jedi, he would have the jedi floored.
