@Obelisk2290 I think in this instance the gloves are unevessary because the cases are closed, not open or cold. Therefore, the evidence has already been processed and used, Basically, it's now archive stuff.
They better hope the building doesn't burn. How many times have I read that lots of old police evidence gets burned up in a fire, and then years later, they need it for a cold case being revisited? Seems pretty risky leaving it in that building like that. They should try to find some underground storage for it and take very, very good care of it.
Did anyone else notice that the trigger guard is broke as well as the handle on the 22cal Buntline Special? I wonder if that was broke over Frykowski's head like the handle?JerryW08 I don't know about Helter Skelter I think that was made up by Bugliosi to snag Manson but Tex was surely unstable! Anyone that would tell a shrink that "They were all running around like chicken's with thier heads cut off" and he smiled when he said it! You can google Tex Watson's mental evaluation and read it!!
There are a lot of things out there (the Kennedy car, the sixth floor Oswald location, Lincoln's chair that he was shot in, the MLK death spot, and on and on) that are on display.
Yes It would be interesting to see this stuff on display and it might help raise enough money to keep some daycare center or clinic open that otherwise might close due to state cutbacks. Think about it, all those bad things might end up serving something good for a change. I would however object to anything being displayed that had the victims blood on it.
Unbelievable stuff in that room! Part of me says they should be in museum but then again that would be glorifying the crimes to some people and that wouldn't be good but I agree with kelly965223, I would like to be in that room also (I don't know about "locked" in there though...lol)
Same here! I mean, I just want to be able to look at all these artifacts! It's a part of history, they SHOULD put that stuff in a museum! I'm such a history nerd
That gun was the .22 buntline special longhorn revolver that tex watson shot jay sebring with and also shot voytek frykowski with twice and when it mis-fired he savagely beat him over the head with thirteen times. That's how the gun's grip was broken and how the barrel became slightly bent.
Damn. Am I partly guilty for these murders?
I own a cassette of the Beatles' music!
(groan - just kidding)

A lot of interesting history is in that room.
They could make a museum out of it all.
The public should see it.
That may sound a bit sick, but it is not.
There are a lot of things out there (the Kennedy car, the sixth floor Oswald location, Lincoln's chair that he was shot in, the MLK death spot, and on and on) that are on display.
Put these things out there as well.
Thank you for posting this.

Wow, they have Manson's White Album? Haha!
Can you imagine what that would fetch on eBay?
Lonelygerbil15 3 years ago
Forget ebay. More like Southebys. Wouldn't sell it today, but when the economy is good, you're talking about millions.
