Good luck doing that with only one player. Thats why hes one of my favorite bosses of all time. He's moves are so much more cooler. I want to program him in my computer so I can use him and fight against other game characters.

Only the Double Dragon helicopter kicks and maybe their super uppercuts are better.

My brother and me used to just hunt him down with constant jumping knee kicks. Once you master that technique, the enemies will know rape. So it was funny watching this dude flying around while we were just trying to get that slo-mo last hit!

Ha, I just played and beat this game and went through almost the whole game only using the knee kick, even with the last boss. I love it when you knee kick them and they go flying off. Fun game though!

Damn, this takes me way back! I remember renting this game from a little "mom and pop" video store in my hometown. Me and my cousins literally played it all day one Saturday. I seem to remember two cyclone kicks could get rid of those damn acrobat dudes.

I love the way they get the computer back for that crappie stuck in the middle double team. You guys were real hype playing this game. Classic feelings, I know how u guys must of felt.

My dad and I were able to beat the game on 2 Players B (The mode where you could both damage each other, and yes, steal each other's lives)

There was a trick we used though in order to do it:

#1 Stay away from each other at all times.

#2 Never use the Cyclone Spin Kick next to each other when we're near pit falls.

#3 Let ME (player 1) control your guy when we have to do serious jumping (Mission 6 and 7)

#4 When a player is low on health have the other player kill him to salvage the life.

A boyfreind of my sister played this with me around 1993 and we also discovered that mere punching, when using 2 players, is enough to overcome the shadow warrior. LOL But that's the last time I've ever played it 2 player. I continue to beat it annualy in a 20-25 minute speed run.

Wow, I've never seen the boss played with two players before. My friends weren't good enough to make it to the last boss with me. The clones are much harder in my opinion, 2 players or not. Nice recording of this by the way. I don't know how it was both dead on screen AND recording natural audio, unless you recorded both separately when they were happening and edited them together later. Nice video. Colors slightly warm though.

I never played this with a buddy, so I was quite surprised at how weak the chief slimeball (hey, double dragons called one minion that) is. If using one player, walk around vertically and back kick him in the gut. If you jump at him, do it when he's getting up or he may take half of your energy with his pirouette jump strike.
