  • the beat reminds me of littlebigplanet anyone agree?

  • This isn't a racist song, and he's not only talking about race, he's talking about hatred in general, "All black everything" is Lupe's way of saying we are all equal. In a human's mind we will always though believe we're above someone.

  • @yourmomftw01 It wasn't until after the theory of Social Darwinism developed that slavery became a racial construct. Before Social Darwinism slaves were simply people in debt who couldn't pay, prisoners of war, or people of conquered nations. Humans don't naturally see other races as inferior, but that way of thinking was instilled during the industrial revolution and has been cemented into the worlds psyche over time.

  • I am not black but this black kid is one of my favourite rapper! He is true in hes raps!

  • @AvellinoRH guy* and his*

  • @ShadowKilla175 Yeh my English sucks!

  • mos def and lupe need to collab

  • This song is the shit!

  • I really think by "All black everything" he means, the opposite of everything that happened.. Not really about just races

  • This song reminds me of myself. A simple Palestinian adolescent, with pride towards his race and the hardships they faced. I wish it was all black everything in Palestine, so that no one would need to see the horrific scenes. What is happening to my people, cannot be spoken of, because there are no words to describe it.

  • is he trying to play eminem if he is i just lost mad respect for him bruh yu caint touch eminem i love lupe but bro dnt even think about callin out MM

  • @MrLong70k Nah bruh, If he was callin anyone out he is callin out 50 cent. He is saying that in his dream everything was perfect. There was no racisim/slavery/war ect. and he is saying that we lived in a world where Eminem could rap or do what he wants with out the constant racism. Like in 8 mile where everyone thought he couldn't rap because he was white. He is just saying eminem fitted in no one discriminated on him cause he is white.

  • @MrLong70k |

Nahh bro, he didnt, he said MM inspiried 50 cent

  • dope song, dope artist. end of story.

  • First off, before one of you ignorant fucks call me racist, take into consideration that most of my friends are black and I'm the furthest thing from racist there is. But If there weren't slaves then would there be an african american community her in America? The first blacks were brought over as slaves. Think about it.

  • @ItAintAGameNoMo I get what you're saying but perhaps maybe Africans would've still decided to come here on their own. Now you could be right. But let's look at white people. They were't brought over as slaves but they still came here. Hispanics weren't brought over as slaves but they still came here and continue to come here. I'm not necessarily disagreeing with you I'm just saying that it's possible according to history very likely that even slavery didn't exist we'd still be here.

  • How did this turn into a Racial debate? That wasnt the purpose of the song. The purpose of the song was to think of an alternate world, where things werent as bad as they are or were. Slavery didnt exist, Racism didnt exist, Peace throughout the world, People are accepting, we're more intelligent and less ignorant. Things like that. He wasnt trying to start up a debate over whether black people (not african Americans) are good or bad or whether white people are cruel. Listen next time.

  • Just Imagine If All He Saying In This Song Was True.....

  • He sounded like old school Eminem in the beginning talking. Love Lupe, gets me to the heart. Thumbs up:D

  • ive seen a few comments from people saying "stop the racism, not all black people are bad". when you say that you're implying that the majority of black people, or at least a large number, are bad. that in and of itself is ridiculously racist.

  • @hedstroa i totally agree

  • @hedstroa it's a sad sterotype but for it to be a sterotype there has to be alot of people that follow the criteria

  • Comment removed

  • @kastheboss84

IF: for a stereotype to be a stereotype there have to be a lot of people that follow the criteria (your words).

THEN: all stereotypes are real (logical assertion based on the assumption that the above is true) (its not)

are you sure you want to make that your argument, that all stereotypes are real?

  • @hedstroa umm no that is not true if i say not all black people and i mean 98% of black people its still not all and there for also not being a large amount. you just made yourself look racist for thinking that we mean the majority of black people. just becuz thts your mind set does not mean its ours

  • i love this song first of all, its rap, but not any rap. This song has meaning people and people need to stop being rasist cause not all blacks are bad alright and i hope lupe fiasco knows how many awsome fans he has, including me, this song is so meaningfull, one of my new favorite songs, let alone rap songs, good job lupe.

  • @TheSuperbad45 spoken like a true white kid

  • just close your eyes

  • When i first heard this song i thought it was another hip hop song with no meaning, then i read the lyrics. This made me realize how much hate the African Americans get. To Everyone: Please stop hating on them. Not all of them are bad.

  • Wow What a Meaningful Song. It's A Cool Change from The Usual Young Money i Always listen to, but i still liked it

  • Lupes not a racist, hes just a true, sick lyrical wordsmith whose tryna spread a message to the world. if you dont like it, then get back to ur young jeezy and plies

  • the rat pack was a cool group of black men that inspired 5 white guys called the Jacksons. this is why i love Lupe Fiasco. who thinks of that??

  • damn i wish i was black

  • @Eloybeast3

    Why?

  • nobody gets it. this isn't a racist song, its lupe showing his black pride. hes not saying blacks are better, hes just imagining a world in which racism didnt occur. yes, africans were enslaving each other. but hes trying to look at what the world would be like if there was no racism. its a great song and it has a lot of meaning. most rappers wouldnt have the guts to go out and state their opinions like this, thats why they sit and rap about the club. songs like this set lupe apart

  • @hnelgren what does it have to do with black pride?

  • @hnelgren Sociologists from Harvard and Tufts universities asked 209 white and 208 black men and women to rate 'racism' against both ethnic groups since the 1950s on a scale of one to 10.

The results showed that while both blacks and whites saw anti-black racism decreasing over the decades, whites saw race relations as a 'zero sum game' where they were losing out as blacks 'gained' the advantage.

  • @hahamatt1314 dude we dont want to know wat universities stop trying to be smart its a song just enjoy it please

  • @hnelgren not being funny but change the word black in this song to white have it done by a white rapper and tell me it wouldnt be racist. dont get me wrong I got mad love for Lupe but this song aint necessary. everyones all like aw we need to move forward and then songs like these come up.......fairly contradictory if you ask me

  • @charlesntheproducers Yea, but whites haven't been enslaved for 400 years. That's the difference. Whites were not enslaved by the blacks, it was vice versa, so obviously you can't simply look at the situation in a "vice versa" manner. That would be unfair.

This song is talking about if there was no racism, if there was no distinction between blacks and whites and if colour was not an issue.

If we simply woke up one day and saw the world as "All Black".

  • lupe is a fucking racsit just as much as white person. but i guess everyones entiltled to an opioion.

  • @rkeeter7 yea, he is a skateboarding racist whose single has a hook by a white lady. STFU and get a life

  • @rkeeter7 lupe isnt racist if you really listen to words of song instead of the beat you would understand . what he meant what could have happen if there werent any slave brought to america . would we have been the same . what if we just came here on our own like the french , spanish and english. like DMX said fuck a beat listen to the words of song and this is evidence your listen to beats .

  • this is a very good song

  • Someone should tell lupe that Africans were enslaving each other at the same time Americans were were enslaving them, not to mention all the other terrible shits thats gone on over there and still is. But more power to him if he wants live over there.

  • @karrl331 He's from Africa, brainiac! People KILL me with this psuedo African history knowledge they instantly come up with when it comes to the subject of slavery.

  • @iconpoet Uhh no he's from chicago, and I fail to see how even if he was from africa that would change the validity of my statement. Where's the psuedo history? Were Africans not selling each other into slavery?

  • love this song plus it gives some history (:

  • @ADS20098 jealous??

  • Really REALLY like this track... sounds a bit like Nujabes work (R.I.P)

  • 2 ppl are stupid, very stupid!!

  • this is my favorite rapper, unlike Drake fake ass

  • Best song by far on the album..

  • i have lyrics on screen!

  • Lupe is da truth

  • one of the few people in control enough to make a song like this without comin out even a little racist, gotta love this dude

  • I love this song

  • trueee

  • Kanye Kid CuDi n Lupe all day

  • @rustyjoe5 Just Cudi and Lupe

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 nah man add kanye back on the list. and j cole too

  • @iamjordandavoll maybe j cole but kanye aint real so him out

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 kanye is definately real. have you heard his first three albums? songs like All Falls Down or Diamonds from Sierra Leone, i cant think of anything off the top off my head, but he is real. all his autotune bullshit aside of course. even his new album, not as real, but still amazing. kanye is underated but i think he is legend

  • @iamjordandavoll Not to affend you but him definitely hes a sell out.

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 ehhhhh kinda a sell out. he never fakes shit tho. he remains real, even tho his music kinda faded on a lyrical stance, he is still creative as hell as an artist, and he keeps shit real, we all know he isnt afraid to speak his mind, even if he might come off as an asshole, thats what i like about him tho

  • @iamjordandavoll yeah true but he is in illuminati so im cool off that sell out

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 ahhhh you believe that illuminati stuff now too? i did for a while, but really, if its so secret why does everyone know about it. and what is the illuminati even DOING? mindwashing? terrorism? world take over? i listen to so-called illuminati members and nothing ever happened but me enjoying some good music. ppl just make a reason to put down great people and say it until it convinces people to believe it. but hey thats just what i think about the whole thing

  • @iamjordandavoll Huh I never thought about it like that maybe your right. But why do they make the signs like the triangle and the eye?

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 the triangle is actually more of a diamond type shape. diamond as in rock, or Roc, as in Roc a Fella's label

  • @iamjordandavoll Oh thanks I understand a little but what about the eye?

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 idk about that, its kinda suspicious i admit, but not really to the point that its proof of anything. maybe they just do it for the hell of it, maybe there is another meaning, but i cant really explain that one to you

  • @iamjordandavoll Yeah because Eminem did it on a picture of Recovery and he aint the type of artist to do that you know what I'm saying. But of others you might be right.

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 well hey until a single person admits to being in illuminati or they take over the world or something lol i dont believe in it

  • @iamjordandavoll Yeah I don't either at least not anymore thanks dude.

  • @NYgiantsbigB525 no problem man

  • Lupe Lets any race, gender, and age listen to his shit which makes him ten times better in the game.......except for j.cole and kid cudi they are about the same to me.

  • lol i love lupe i just felt fuckin wit some1 i guess...mine got more likes tho

  • The song is vintage Lupe!!!

  • by far the best song off lasers... lupe tried waaaay too hard on lasers totally skipped over good beats and the lack of which obviously affected his writing. that doesn't get rid of the fact that this is a beautifully visionary song

  • This is the Best music , that our ignorant ass generation doesnt listen to , beacasue they dont give a fuck about causes , and real shit .

Very sad that the Best rapper alive is treated like soulja boy's rapping skill .

  • @HashedTag not the best rapper alive (Tech N9ne), but other than that agree totally

  • im not black but this song is crazy inspirational

  • @j4mes570 don't have to be black to enjoy this

  • Crips never occurred no Bloods to attack them

Matter of fact no hood to attack in

Somalia is a great place to relax in

Fred Astaire was the first to do a backspin

The Rat Pack was cool group of black men

That inspired five white guys called The Jacksons

Eminem fitted in but then again he inspired a black rapper tryin to mimic him

And that's what really rose up out of Michigan, the sign of white rapper by the name of 50 Cent, ha!

  • It's About Time That The Commercial Rap World Was Brought Out Of Ignorance. Why Is It That Tracks Such As This And "Words I Never Said" Aren't Played On The Radio? How Long Will It Take Before The World Is Introduced To REAL Hip-Hop And The Commercial Rap Is Left Behind For The Truth? At What Point Will Artists Such As Lupe Fiasco And Blu Bring The World Out Of The Ignorance Constantly Shoved In Our Faces By "Artists" Like Wayne And Drake? At What Point Does The Rap World FINALLY Mature?

  • @ItsBlack24 so true dude...

  • Beautiful song. Very talented :)

  • The track reminds me of the wizard of oz

  • Wow, this song is just beautiful.
