@sareenagreen2010 That sounds horrible! I'm so sorry you didn't have a positive experience. Neither of my daughters had any trouble getting their casts cut off. It would have been terrible if they experienced what you did.

@annegiep oh wow that is crazy! i heard humerus breaks are a pain in the butt! i broke my ulna and radius too.they wanted to do surgery but i respectfully declined, so they set it and i was very careful about movement.i'm now in physical therapy so hopefully all works out well.

The saw blade actually vibrates and doesn't rotate. The vibration will cause the "saw" to cut through hard materials but only vibrates against soft materials, not cutting them. It's pretty neat.
The decor doesn't help, either! Actually, it's pretty cool... the "saw" only cuts the cast but nothing soft. Both of the girls said it tickled when they were sawing.
man i have 1 on my right hand right now and i get it off in like 2 more weeks and i already know im gnna shit myself when they do it

@sareenagreen2010 My older daughter broke her humerus right above the elbow and her radius.
My younger daughter (in the video) broke her radius and ulna. They broke their arms 6 days short of a year apart. It was crazy!

@tlc1456 It doesn't hurt at all... it's just loud. The blade won't hurt you. It only cuts the cast but won't hurt anything soft.
