No at 2:54 you sing bad and you hold the note for a long long time.

I am not sure, but I believe there are 2-4 measures missing at 2:54. The place where the accompianiament follows the singer at the lyric "got it..." after "But now I"... It sounds like it skips from "But now I" to "bad". Am I incorrect?

the original score (which is in front of me now actually) does not have "But now I got it". It just goes, on four whole notes and same beat. (I got it bad) with the bad on a high "G". This is not the version that is on youtube i dont think. Because I am auditioning with this song.

@BaggyJeansBoy You are correct, but it still works to sing it as noted by GellME. In fact, this might be a welcome change for someone that can't usually hold the note its full length.
