Doing same type of job with a 40 ton blind using radios taking down a big euke. Told the trimmer only give me about 5' of tree to start with. He knew better and gave me about 15'. It was quite a ride got the outriggers up about 4-5' hit the fast hoist and boom down and got it to the ground before she broke over. Told the trimmer find somebody else not to listen to packed it up and took her back to the yard.

When it comes to cutting tree's down, a piece of tree is rigged and the crane put's tension on the line, at which point the tree service cut's the next piece off. The problem is if the tree trimmer cut's too big a chunk off, the crane operator won't know it until it's too late.
