More than a million Soviets soldiers couldn't get this rugged mountainous country under their control. How is a few hundred thousand supposed to do it even with NATO's help?!

Majority of the population are dumb asses (i.e. illiterate) and the current leaders are corrupt bunch of warlords who have barely have any control of the country. The army and police keep switching sides back and forth. By all indication there is no way to win and no way to for Afghanistan to become a normal country.

since 2001, They're not solving anything, the reason they are there is reserves , petrol, gas, minerals etc. etc..

Afgan people are losing, soldiers are losing but some people are winning , sad! sad!
