It was just on True TV the other night. Yes, the bad guy died at the scene, shot in the chest and head. The officer who was shot recovered after a while. The bad guy ejected his magazine on accident after shooting the first cop, then both cops open fired on him. Dont know why the sound fades out though, as it didnt say. That was the injured cop saying "Ive been hit". He was telling th eother cop who, if you listen closly in the background, then called for help on his radio.

It was a Sig 9mm. One shot hit the cop on the drivers side, according to the news report! Wounded officer shot back 10 times and the Chief, who was the other cop on the passenger side of the bad guy, shot 4 times. The bad guy died right there at the scene, so it says.
