I know because I for years have played with speaker /subs and made my own speakers./subs.its like finding a way to make the wheel again.its not easy trust me.!!!!
For years and years they still haven't found a way to make speakers more efficient. besides replacing the magnets with rare earth magnets and bigger coils and better cooling .and about 99% of a speakers power is dissipated as heat. If u know anything about technology you would not be saying this..
This is an amazing product, a glass speaker that sounds like high end regular speakers, the range of their speakers is 300 HZ to 15KHZ but with their sub woofer you can get as low as 40HZ, you can’t get any better that this, I just wonder how they can accomplish this as glass usually makes high frequency, all I can say is that I wished I had one in my house. Great job Greensound.
@rustinshamloo A 'sub woofer' should be for frequencies below 40Hz. So this has ONE woofer? That means you're going to hear 40Hz to 300Hz from one direction and 300Hz to 15KHz from two other directions. That is what makes these awful.
@rowanjl A subwoofer is for frequencies below 150 Hz, but most subwoofers are tuned to work below the 80-120 Hz range. Frequencies below 120 Hz are generally omni-directional anyway, so it's fine if the lower bass is generated from one direction.
I have heard them and they are better than real speakers -- even the bass. You can't even believe how amazing these things are. Super expensive though, of course.
I doubt the quality can be compared to speakers we are used to but this is more of the fashion thing than qualitative. I would lovely buy one of those just because they are something different and if they can make sound it's all I need! For me super quality is overrated as I don't have that good hearing.

"greensound"... really?
The innovation should be enough of a selling point, tacking on "environment friendly" is pointless because it isn't a mass consumable item.
Surely I'm not the only person that's moderately annoyed when companies put bullshit "green-tech" labels on everything.
