  • "I KNEW I WAS GOING TO TAKE THE WRONG TRAIN SO I LEFT EARLY"

  • Good article this summer on him Sports Illustrated. My favorite (and I'm a life long Dodger fan) is the part where he has in his museum the great black and white photo of Jackie Robinson stealing home on him. He just walks by it, looks up, and says "he's out!" His stats were amazing.. as a hitter and he hardly ever sat out a game and did not catch.

  • 2:14 pretty sure he farts

  • It's called "in his own words," but it's mostly other people talking about him.

  • 2:16 "I HIT IT U DIDNT" LOL

  • Great player, great coach, great guy, great catcher, great hitter, great leader, great teammate, very humble, and hilarious.

  • Hey Boo Boo!Let's go get us some hominic runs!

  • Not taking anything away from yogi (hes a great player) but in my opinion roger maris was the best yankee ever

  • He was 5'7 and one of the greatest clutch hitters of all time. He caught, played the outfield and 1st base.

  • He was only 5' 5".

Today, they wouldn't even give him a tryout.

  • dude spiner303 wat r u smoking?!?! pudge is no yogi and there never will be another yogi but pudge is gonna be the best catcher u will ever see!!! in his prime he could riffle a strike 2 2nd from his knees! u will never c a better catcher then pudge. now i m a huge russell martin fan and yes he is only going 2 get better but when u compare him 2 pudge there is no comparison. even when martin hits his prime cause he has not hit it yet but he will still not be as good a pudge in pudges prime

  • not really, he isnt that good anymore

  • wow you have got to be kidding, ivan rodriguez is nowhere near the best cather, hes so overated, the best catcher is yogi berra, and the best catcher of our time is russel martin, and hes only going to get better

  • Can someone tell me please the title of the big band music at the start of this piece?

  • Around 1967. The Red Sox started it, I believe.

  • 60s but there didnt have the ear things or pating like today it was kinda like wearin 2 hats

  • my main man yogi berra is getting old. He was one of the best catchers in the world. New good players arent better then the old ones, cause the new ones have new equipment and new training facilities, which the old players didnt have.
