how abt in comparison with O-ral B Smart Series 5000

I had the old Sonicare toothbrush you showed in the video. I used it for 8 years! The battery just died and I'm debating if I should replace the battery (replacement battery available on ebay) OR should I upgrade to the new one in your video. If you think the old version w/magnet is better, maybe I'll just replace the dead battery. What do you think I should do?

@purplefetus3 Have you tried the battery reset method? 1) Place the handle in the charger. 2) Hold the (ON) button for 5 seconds (note: you will hear 2 buzzes) 3) Repeat step 2 and you should hear 1 buzz. 4) Leave the handle to charge for at least over night or 14+ hours. If that method does not work then replacing the battery is mandatory. As for me I'm still rocking that old one in the video :D

i have this toothbrush, but i dont no how to use it. am i supposed to brush like a normal toothbrush, or just move it across my mouth slowly?

@Acccusative You move the toothbrush so that all parts of the tooth brush contact all parts of your tooth, and the long parts of the tooth brush go in between the teeth.

So.. Is the head rotary or... I dunno, I´m just looking for a REAAAAAAAALLLLLY good tooth brush... To flip off my dentist who charges a fortune for cleaning my teeth, and doesn´t accept insurance.

I have that one. Works great like wonders! Been using sonicare for 5 years and have gone through 2 old versions before they came out with the sanitizer. I use it while in the shower too.... to brush my teeth lol! Seriously. So I don't have to use the faucet anymore once I get out of the shower!!

I use it on the carbon buildup on firearm bolts. It works a lot better than the standard nylon gi brushes.

i have a question. What would you use, to clean the head, for the toothbrush so the inside of the head won't get all dirty.?

Yeah, you want the UV sanitizer: even toothbrushes not stored in the bathroom are found to contain fecal coliforms on the brush head when tested.

ive just bought this today well impressed ive had the sonicare since 1998 its really developed into something good not bulky or hard to clean anymore i felt old brush only lasted a month before the cleanness new brush has a sanitiser well good 10 /10

They now make a Sonicare cover to seal the cracks! It''s a nice addition and easy to clean. No more removing the brush head every time.
