my family asks all the time why i want to join the marine when were at war. all i can say is thats what a marine does, fight. and does nothing but fight for them and the rest of the country. my brother doesnt like the fact that im joining, we cant be seperated, and i told ill be safe no matter what.

@psychohatchet777 Well as the way I see it you have one of two options you can go with the Marines and lose out on your girlfriend or not join and stay with your girlfriend and miss out on all the opportunities the Marines have to offer and the chance to serve your country. Ether way you will have to sacrifice something.

i told my sister this when i was deployed and all i got hit and called an idiot as she cried. she knew that i was fighting for her and our family and it was something i knew i had to do and i never regretted joining the army while my best friend join the Marines
