I love the wildfire episode end scene, when the group reaches the devastated building full of corpses and the dark cloudy sky light, and then the doctor looks at the camera and watch as the group arrives at the door armed and prepared as a super survivors that have just emerged from the jaws of death in a devastated world, dead, dark and absolutely hostile

I read in my entertainment weekly magazine that the season 2 will probably not start until the fall and some of the characters will still be in the 2nd season. New ones will also be introduced. A samauri sword welding girl and a ex-football linebacker and possibly someone called the Governor who makes survivors fight gladiator fights against the zombies.

I thought maybe someone was actually watching that guys transmission who were government then sent troops in since he talked of suicide. I think perhaps they are a team that makes sure he continues to work it out over there.

They should go outside and collect some of those heavy weapons though that are scattered around plus the assault rifles and other light weapons they were walking by leading up to the building.

@Takimaster00 How would it if the walking dead is about surviving the zombie apocalypse rather than trying to cure it? I can see why the writers are putting this into the show where the comics didn't. It's so that just in case the show starts to drop off in ratings or the producers decide to can it, they can at least tie it off with some kind of logical conclusion in the end. The comics may continue to keep going, but the show has no garauntee of this.
