hey pcxmac11, everybody knows that yamaha usually builds their bikes to corner better than anybody else, and not necessarily super fast on the straightaways. its either gain ground on the straights or gain a lot on the corners. its the same as in motogp. the ducatis are faster on the straight, but the yamahas are faster on the corners. quit crying cuz someone said yamaha is better. on this vid, they stated they won the manufacturers championship last year. not bad eh?
I was at the track, down near Siberia, for two days. The not so funny thing is there was absolutely NO free to air TV coverage at all, except for Fox Sports. So the only way you could see it in Australia was be there, have Fox, of wait for this in You Tube. The Island is an awesome track for spectating, you can see half the track clearly from almost anywhere, and you can ride your bike to where you are going to view the racing.

I would have put Vermulen and Spies in the team and kicked Loris though.. Also I would say Spies will be in the Tech 3 team next year not Fiat Yamaha. Can't see Yamaha kicking Lorenzo for Spies..

The rain fouled him up come race time, but if I remember right he finished around 10th or so on his first run. Suzuki should have added a third machine if they were that loyal to Cap and Verm. Not very common to see a motorcyle team loyal to any of its riders when they aren't winning.
I bet the 2009 WSBK will have a lot more viewers this year than Moto GP. The qualifying, the different manufacturers and V-Twins, V-4s, 4 in-lines and the cross plane cranckshaft engines all battling it out on the same racetrack. FANTASTIC.
