  • well he is flying good, i would say if you cant fly with a little wind then goto a MCX chopper

  • jeez! what a fireplace.

  • @legalize000 One day I will open it up to the chimney and actually install the real fire :)

  • I hovered my helicopter inside my house before. I will never do it again. The wind coming from the main rotor hits the walls and comes back at the helicopter making it very unstable. Thats why in this video he cant get a good hover and the helicopter is all over the place.

  • @Irnwkr28 It's much easier flying outside

  • so dangerous, so many things could go flying at literally hundreds of mph

    nobody should ever do this

  • You are insane flying a 450 inside. That is an accident waiting to happen...

  • @SEStechno I know. Done it hundreds of times and never had a problem. I must be very lucky.

  • @johnsoncp13 That comment is like someone saying: "I can drive my car at 100mph on the highway with my eyes closed for 5 minutes. I've never had an accident before, done it hundreds of times..." What if a servo binds? What if a link pops off? What if your gyro messes up? etc.. I've seen hardware failures happen on name brands and there's no way to predict it...

  • @SEStechno OK

  • @johnsoncp13

    Nice flying man!

    Nice house too.

    Danger?

    We live for danger! Hahaha

I'm an adrenaline junky, what can I say?

    Keep up the good work!

  • @DavidSunshine867 Thanks for the comments. We haven't exchanged comments in ages. Just like you, I love the adrenaline!

  • You are most welcome! Thankyou for such prompt reply. I have two, they are both bell rotor type design. I am glad to hear of the stability, I will have to get one now and see how I go. Thankyou kindly!

  • Hi, you seem well educated in your responses. I was just wondering, I can fly 4 channel walkeras fairly well. Would I be able to hover a 450? Are there any resources you could guide me too? I have a sim but its for 4ch.

Also nice living room and excellent skills!

    Cheers!

  • @SebMarra Thank you for the kind comments. I've found that the larger the helicopter, the easier it is to fly. They are more stable and less "skitty". Is the Walkera a twin rotor co-axial? A 450 style helicopter is harder to fly but you must not be scared to try. I wouldn't bother using a simulator whilst learning a simple hover, just go straight to the real thing. Small "bunny hops", once they are up above your head you can easily lose control so keep it low. Don't use Idle Up. It's very scary.

  • Hello

Nice hover. I have build my first 450,and I am learning to fly it. But it is so unstabile. As sun as I live the ground it is going somewhere. Not straight up. I am using training kit landing gear. Is it possible that that is my problem. Heli is great made, everything is in great shape.

  • @kingoftheput Thank you for the comment. Please don't despair as they are much harder to hover than many people think. Even when you think it is set up perfectly there is usually room for improvement. All I can say is just keep practicing. Enough power to take off, then land. Don't try and go too high. If possible practice outside as flying indoors is much harder due to the dirty air hitting it. Very small adjustments, all the time! Good luck.

  • solid tail.. i wished my heli can have such a solid tail.. do you mind telling me what gyro are you using? =)

  • @YieSing Hi. I was using a Logictech 2100 head hold gyro

  • something tells me the wife wasnt at home

  • Its good that you bricked up the fireplace to avoid any drafts.

  • @shaddotcom Excellent, yes.

  • I expect it won't be long until I crash it....Been there...Done that with a Raptor V.1...$2000 in entire build and burned 2 gallons of Nitro...Sold for $200 to a guy in Simi Valley...Never again will I do RC

  • nice..i've done many kinda settings to reduce the vibration on my heli..

  • @IhsanFarisi Thanks. Hours of careful setting up gives great results but a single crash sends you right back to square one. Frustrating, but fun.

  • @johnsoncp13 all ok...but the tail servo is like shit

  • i recommend an rc flight sim like realflight or aerofly then u can learn 3d :)

  • Hi. Nice heli. What is the range of flight, how far can your helicopter fly from your RC?

  • @jaimecidcampeador To be honest I've never tested it. At distance the heli is so small I don't feel confident flying it so it has never been a problem.

  • @johnsoncp13 Hi. I would like to get one myself very much. Any specials that you know during this Xmas season? Thanks. Merry Xmas BTW :)

  • @jaimecidcampeador Merry Christmas. Sorry I can't help with any special offers but I hope you find something nice.

  • @jaimecidcampeador ASK MR GOOGLE.com

  • You look like you have a bit of confidence in your flying but WOW, a T Rex in the living room?!! One little thing goes wrong and WHAMMMM, there goes your leather couch or a wall, end table, picture hanging, light, etc, etc, etc LOL! I won't even fly my blade cp pro in the house but I really suck a flying it though. Good job man, 5 stars!

    J

  • @PC9JEFF Thanks for the comments. I've had one or two close ones and as time goes by my wife spots the odd bit of collateral damage :)

  • Wish i can do that haha

  • Comment removed

  • I just ordered a T-Rex 450, do you recommend stripping it down & setting up from scratch using a leveler etc.?

  • @c349928 I have owned several 450s and I have never stripped down any parts of the kit. I just connect them all together and set up afterwards. However, I have crashed a few and in those cases have rebuild the heads. I suppose it depends how good you are at flying and whether you expect to crash or not.

  • real smooth head well balanced

  • @ivanskye Thank you. The T-Rex is quite a good reasonably priced helicopter and flies well once set up properly.

  • i use phinex or how ever u spell it on a DX 7 remote its easy 2 invert on sim but 2 scared to try real life lol

  • Phoenix is very good. I had it myself. I've never tried these things in real life as I don't have enough space.

  • Phoenix would keep your wife happy :) lol without smacking all paint off her walls haha breaking that ovely table next to you lol they love to eat wooden legs :D i just my banister with mine lol

  • She would agree with you there!

  • I'd be scared to fart in that house......bet your wife was out..

  • She was indeed :)

  • A tad close to the end table, there, fella. What would the Better Half say if she came home and found a big gouge in the table leg? Still, very nice settle there at the touchdown.

What headlock gyro are you using? Did you have to ride the yaw stick a lot to keep it in attitude?

  • Yes, she has spotted a few 'marks' here and there ;)

This was using a Logictech 2100 head hold gyro.

Unfortunately this heli had a very bad crash and was written off. (Outside the house!)

  • very nice video....and your house too ;)

  • Thank you. Except for a few marks on the walls and ceiling. I wonder where they came from ;)

  • stunts08 who give u all big attitude....i can invert in my living room.u arse.why do ppl lie.if u was that gud wheres ur vids u gay

  • And I still can't fly any helicopter inverted, anywhere. I even have trouble on the flight simulator.

  • british faggot

  • ignoramus

  • Shut up you american Faggot

  • Hi mate, nice bit of hovering, was the straight from the box or have u upgraded it?? did it need setting up?

  • Hi. The T-Rex 450 comes as a kit. The frame is mostly built but you have to fix it all together and set up the linkages etc. Also the gyro, receiver and servos are bought separately. It takes a few evenings to build it and sort it all out. This is different to the eSky models which come ready to fly.

  • Good one!!!!

  • Thanks. It's scary flying indoors.

  • nice, next invert in the house!

  • Yes, you are thinking like me :) I can't even go inverted outside yet.

  • i got my 450SE inverted in my house its not that hard once you are good at stationary flipping it is easy.

  • very nice hover
