The hash marks (they are called hash marks, not stripes BTW) are at the correct angle. The first 2 black hash marks are in rememberence of 2 friends killed by a hit and run driver, and the 3rd is rememberence of the soldiers whom have given their lives in active duty - that's why there is also a flag hash in there.

Yeah - that little dragrace took place waaaaay back in 2002 when CamZilla was still StockZilla putting down about 335rwhp.

The red C5 Z is a C5R block 427ci MTIZ07 (the same package that went into CamZilla in 2007) putting down a conservative 530lbft and 550rwhp at the time.

You car sounds and goes like stink - it really shows that you have good seat time in your car. I am not a great 1/4 mile guy. I believe my bext time when the car was stock (2001 385bhp Z06) was abotu 12.7 @ 105mph or something.

Just hold down the Active Handling button for 5 seconds to engage Competitive Mode.

One push turns A/H off, and another push turns it on - holding it for 5s puts it in Competitive Mode.

well, you said any car. its a '23 Ford T-bucket with a fully built 302 small block and a BDS 6-71 blower on it. since its only a 3 speed auto, i have to say 3rd gear. the reason being is that 3rd gear is the safest gear. upwards of 820hp in an 1100 lbs car is scary........trust me.

The C5z06s all have LS6's. Same displacement as the LS1, but different cam, intake manifold, heads, and the block is slightly stronger among other things.

Ahhh. I think the Ls2's sound pretty good with the right exhaust/header/cam combo. Though I don't spend much time around GTO's, I've spent some time around C6's. The Ls3's sound pretty good too. Besides, the LS2 is a better motor in everyday, so you're starting off with a better platform. What color is your GTO?

Beautiful! I've been torn between a 91-93 acura NSX, or an '01-'04 z06. This video makes that decision easy - the gas mileage, cost of maintenace, and performance alone make the z06 a better buy, but the sound! The NSX just sounds like a prelude.

My buddy had some difficulties planning his LS7 swapped, ended up going full heads / cams on a 402 stroker on his LS6 instead... $12G total in parts and labour, and the price for the ls7 alone was $12G, big decisions with t hat much power
