I am thinking about buyning a clio rs 182 from 2001 with 120.000 km.

Are these really reliable cars?

@rngew itll be a 172, 182s werent availble till 2003....if its got a full service history and the timing belts have been done itll be sound.

@rngew The engine is, the electronics are french, so they melt as if they were cheese, but the car runs good. Mine's got 140.000km and still starts and goes like the first day. Watch for worn engine mountings (which lead to failing gearbox synchros, which are a costly repair...), exhaust and as said before, electronics. Besides that the car is quite good and it's a thrill to drive fast ;)

a week ago i picked up my 200 cup and i love it. fast in a straight line. even faster round the bends. best bang for your buck under 16k.

D4F is a very good engine. It's funny to drive also if it have got only 75hp! I had it on a Clio II.
