Paul sparked widespread anger with his remarks last month to MSNBC host Rachel Maddow that he has misgivings about the Civil Rights Act. Paul told Maddow he abhors racial discrimination but suggested that the federal government should not have the power to force restaurants to serve minorities if owners don't want to.

I knew this whole rand paul thing was BS from the start. i randomly turned on the tv one day, which happend to be the day after the rachel madow interview, and saw him being attacked on keith olberman. it didnt sound right, so i went and looked at what actually happened. its really pathetic that there are paid political newscasters on tv that dont understand or respect the fundamentals of libertarian views. I mean come on, the ideas have been around for quite some time now...
