  • Looking @ these comments that you're replying to I'm doing everything you say.

& my quality still looks like crap...

  • Hey man i need help. I have rendered my video in Adobe After Effects so now it is a quicktime player file. so now its ready to upload to youtube, but everytime i pick the file google chrome keeps crashing:( the file size is 3,20 GB and the is 4 min long. is it to big of a file? please help. thanks:)

  • my upload took 1 hour...

  • @MudkipzRLadzy theres a program called mpeg streamclip, which makes your filesize smaller and uploads quicker :)

  • THANKIES!!! but I already did all the stuff you did , but how come my upload took 25 minutes even HD?

  • LOL! This video is in 720p :')

  • Hi, iMovie lets me upload to youtube in all quality apart from 720p or 1080p :S The video plays in HD on my mac but youtube won't take it from the site or iMovie... any help would be great thanks. :)

  • 1 person is obviously the toy store lady :)

  • No i only have the option of 360p or 240p, even though I recorded the clips with a HD PVR. An example of the quality is on my channel.

  • @ThreedyceProductions TRY: from iMovie Share>Exporting using quicktime. name your project/pick a folder. Click "Options" in "Setting>Compression type> choose "H.264". set quality to "BEST" than "size>dimensions:" choose 1280X720 HD. Dont touch anything else. Click " Ok & Save" your video should end with .MOV filename extension. this procedure doesn't help if your video kinda blurry. let me know what you get.

  • @Coxfame I've done everything you said and the file has the .mov filename extension. When i play the video in Quicktime the quality is great but it still does the same glitchy thing as the video on my channel.

  • @ThreedyceProductions drag and drop your video on youtube's website "/my_videos_upload" dont use quicktime or any third party application.

  • @Coxfame It must be a problem with iMovie. Seeing as I can upload to Youtube straight from the movie folder and I can play it in full 1080p. However when I try to upload it after putting it through iMovie to edit and whatnot, the quality is terrible and it glitches.

  • How do you upload to Youtube in HD from iMovie '08? When I try to upload straight from iMovie it only offers a medium quality upload.

  • @ThreedyceProductions for iMovie 08 Users: watch 0:45 to 2:00 still got ??? dont hesitate to ask,

  • @Coxfame Yeah I've done all that. But i can't upload in HD and when i try and use the YouTube uploader the video glitches and the quality is terrible.

  • @ThreedyceProductions do you get the 240p, 360p, 480p & 720p HD options on your video when you watch it on youtube? even tough your video quality is terrible? are you uploading video clips from a camera or screen recorder?

  • baby fetish....

  • thumbs up if you checked if this was HD

  • @Coxfame

    k my bad didnt know!!

  • Why isnt this movie 1080p??

  • lol why babys :P

  • this song sounds like justin bieber sang it

  • Im trying to upload a movie from imovie but it when i try to do it, it says "youtube is encountering problems" or something like that. do you know why?

  • how do i get the 720 option with imovie 08?

  • @LiveLaughLove8489 in imovie 08 you dont get any HD option. to get 720p HD videos you have to "Export using quicktime" make sure you select 1280X720 to get 720p HD. or 1920x1080 to get 1080p HD. good luck.

  • Your precious angel is fat.

  • @HachArt bro get a life u troll, i bet u have issues

  • do i need imovie 08?

  • I only have Mobile and Medium options when I want to share on YouTube please help !

  • Hey can sombody please help I do every step he says and wen I save it, I wanna upload it to YouTube but it dosent go in 720 or 1080p HD????

    HELP

  • what did you use to record this? Camtaisia?

  • screenflow

  • @Coxfame is that standard or do you have to get it?

  • @Coxfame Hey it works from iMovie 2011?

  • @ElPelon2795 in iMovie 11, u dont need to go to this proses, just click Share> Youtube> HD720 or HD1080. make sure you pictures or videos is in high resolution in order to get HD.

  • what about 1080 option You only have 720p on this video. Thanks for the info.

  • do the same thing but in size> select >1920 x 1080 HD and you will get 360p, 340p, 720p and 1080p options for your video on youtube. remember, 720p or 1080p doesn't make your video crystal clear HD if the source isnt crystal clear enough.

  • thanks. I have tried it and notice no difference. I will need a HD camera. Also for my long 10min videos I don't know if i can afford the upload time etc. Most of the 720 or 1080 videos I see have lag problems and im using cable highspeed internet.

  • Do you know how I can get a quicktime video on to youtube?

  • Im using Imovie 08 and i did the upload to quicktime and its not coming in as HD on youtube

  • Thanks for making this video. What I am trying to figure out is how to update some of my Youtube videos without losing the comments and the view counts. Do you know if this is possible?

  • its impossible, u got to start all over again.
