  • Ferragamo, not Gucci.

  • I am quite about to make this step. This post got me wondering whether i can do it. Again. And thank you very much!

  • definitely ferragamos, thats the typical SF buckle ....

  • i believe it too, that they are from 'Salvatore Ferragamo' !

Because Gucci is maing like..a special pair of metal on the shoes (just check collections)

  • those are ferragamo you moron.

  • dammit this clip is annoying... how sad is Fox news really - seriously how poor, bored and brain dead can their target demographic be?

This is like E! for right-wing simpletons.

  • Ferragamo - 'fing redneck fox news media. "Gucci loafers at a country fair" reactionary hick BS. How is that a slip up? Some of America's top hicks pay in the $ thousands for cowboy boots.

A decent pair of dress shoes cost $200 now. A pair of loafers like that are $400-$500 which is almost middle of the road.

  • you ignorants!!! they are salvatore ferragamo!!

  • i think those are salvatore ferragamo

  • damn, nice shoes. I love loafers.

  • I am selling top quality and cheap GUCCI products , for more information ,pls check my personal profile.go to our website, you will find more surprise on it.

  • And had he worn Cowboy Boots Carl would have said something like... "We're pretty sure this is the first time Fred Thompson has ever worn Cowboy Boots... but this is the time of the campaign season where candidates will do anything to get a vote."

Media doesn't like it when Fred is just being Fred.

  • Fred Thompson has the endorsements of National Right to Life, George Allen and Tom McClintock.

On November 21st, 2007, let's help a real conservative get into the White House!

    fredsgivingday com

  • Thats what Im talking About........

  • hot shoes

  • Gucci Loafers last a lifetime. It's actually cheaper when you consider how many pairs of shoes you avoided buying. But those are some sharp loafers!!

  • Come on, there's plenty not to like about Thompson without bitching about his SHOES. Oh well, at least people are prattling about what the male candidates are wearing too.

  • Gucci? LOL - country, indeed.

  • That's a Fox News slip up! They're not Gucci, they're Feragamo.

  • yeah; very much true indeed.Ferragamo's; no way they're gucci's!

  • As a real conservative and U.S. Army Veteran who has sworn an oath to protect The United State Constitution I can only support Ron Paul for President

  • Ok good luck with that. But if and when he loses the primaries who would be your second choice?

  • Your ignorrance is laughable.

    Poor litle fool!

  • Clinton - 68%

    Thompson - 32%

  • So Clinton has spent all this money and time plotting to run for President and some guy who up and decided early this year that he wanted to run is already 2nd in the GOP polls. Face it if Hillary is the nominee then the Reps could run a green duck named sparky against her and win in a landslide.

  • You MUST be from Texas. No REAL American can be as stupid as you are, Seekster.

Yet, as stupid as you seem from your comments, you're still probably better qualified to be president than the Senator from NBC's Law and Order.

  • Cant seem to challenge my ideas so you dare to insult Texas and call me stupid and un-American. I smell a Hillary supporter because im not yet ready to consider Ron Paul supporters this dense. Never let me be President ever! Id spend all day glancing at the big red button labeled (Press to Nuke Portugal)

  • There will not be another republician in the white house for another 20 years - Bush has seen to that.

  • Your ignorrance is laughable.

  • Woot Latest news from Thompson's campaign says that Thompson will make his announcement online on September 6!!! Check out CNN's political ticker. Basically its just like Starcraft II "Hell...its about time." Get your powder ready folks its almost time for the real election to begin!

  • Calm down and take the tin foil off your head already. The American people arent as helpless as you might think. They would never tolerate an NAU and if you think it can be done without anyone knowing about it then im afraid there is just no help for you.

  • w w w . govtrack. u s/congress/bill. x p d ?bill=hc110-40 (delete spaces)

Note the Bill and its the political party of its co-sponsors and get back to me.

  • You do realize the irony in JFK talking about conspiracies. So do you think Jack Ruby had anything to do with it?

  • SEEKSTER : do you not have a job? If not, get one! Then maybe you won't have so much time to spread your uneducated bullshit! You seem to do nothing but put people in boxes like "CFR nut cases" and make statments like they are fact when you've nothing to back it up. So, for the sake of those who passed the 1st grade....shut up until you have something worth saying.....and by worth, I mean TRUTH.

  • Congratulations on passing the first grade. It just so happens to be my day off actually. Oh I dont say something unless I have sources to back it up. So go ahead, challenge me and ill reveal my sources. Im here for the long haul, the more nut cases I find the more motivated I become to see if I cant crack open a few nut cased minds.

  • Hey Artmonkey, why not try using RELEVANT metrics to bolster your point. Try taking polls of the individual congresspersons in their home precincts.

America's judgment about Congress as a whole is irrelevant. To compare Congress' rating against that of the President is apples/oranges.

  • Hey both Bush and Congress will be replaced in 08 so what are you whining about. Bush couldnt be in a better situation. He cant please anyone and doesnt need to. No matter what he does his enemies criticize him and say we should be doing the opposite. In other words what has Bush got left to lose at this point? Congress on the other hand...well at least it will be red again.

  • That's a GOOD position, Seekster? Wow, I know Bush fans set the bar low, but come on...

Bush has staked out his positions because he has no other alternatives. The best he can do is continue to grease his buddies and keep intimating that the long view of history will vindicate him.

  • Hell for all we know history COULD vindicate him, thats what Clinton and all other Presidents hope for. Im not saying that this is where I want Bush to be but this is where he finds himself unfortunately. Ah well hopefully he can make the place look nice for Fred Thompson.

  • What place is that? Fred can't even tease the fan base without shitting the bed. He's being sued by the FEC for fundraising violations. Seems you can't act like a candidate, can't raise money like one, till you're actually, y'know, a candidate.

  • And Bush is using history the way a whore uses a lamppost: for support, not illumination. W said the jury's still out on Washington and Lincoln. WTF? The jury is NOT out on them; they're pretty uniformly accepted to be great presidents. W's stint in the WH will spend eternity circling the drain, even if Baghdad looks like the It's a Small World Ride. He. Is. That. Incompetent. And. Doctrinaire.

  • If Bush said that the jury is still out on Washington and Lincoln then he is wrong. It takes about a generation before we know where a President's place in history will be. Anything before that is partisan opinion. That goes for Bush and for Clinton. Neither you or I have the right to speak for history on that topic.

  • Fred don't do shrimp like Ron Paul.

  • You may have something there but ive never seen either "do shrimp" so I cant say for myself.

  • Just ignore the CFR nut cases they will all shut up after Ron Paul withdraws from the race sometime early next year. I will deal with real, not imaginary threats. If the CFR threat ever became real then they would be put down so fast so Im not worried.

  • Challenge to wntoplay - you asked me if I was a Christian fundamentalist - I told you that I was. You have spoken out on behalf of Jews, blacks and gays who you say are victims of Christian abuse. I asked if you are a Jew, a black or gay. You have not answered. Why?

  • did i forget to mention you don't like latinos, asians, south americans, mexicans, canadians (unless their white fundamentalists), africans, who else did i leave out that you hate?

if what i say is not the truth, it certainly is your reputation and you're history. and with that heritage, who in their right mind wants to be part of your group? certainly not christ.

  • The reason that wntoply does not answer my question is because wntoply is afraid that I will begin to factually deal with his false accusations.

  • hey barney, i don't see you answering any of my questions, questions far more important than whether i a jew, black, gay or christian. maybe i am all or none of the above, but we certainly know what you are.

  • You know what I am because you asked and I answered. I asked, you asked, I answered, you refuse to answer. Hardly fair, is it. Then you're not about fairness, you just hate Christians. Your reasons for doing so are not rational, and you don't want to deal with the rationality of your reasons because you are married to your hatred.

  • please go back and read what i said barney, i don't hate christians i hate fundamentalists who by defination hate everyone not like them therefore not christian.

and what difference does it make if i am a jew, black, gay or christian? do you intend to spew your infamaous hate for these people?

  • You continue to dodge a perfectly legitimate question. It is completely legitimate to ask if you are a Jew, black or gay because you yourself asked if I was a fundamentalist Christian. The fact you asked the question underscores that the question is completely reasonable. Further, you are the one who has raised Jews, blacks and gays in your attacks on Christians. Your failure to answer underlines that you are completely unreasonable.

  • oh, why completely unreasonable? typical you only deal in absolute black & white don't you. i usually make no bones about who & what i am, but in your case i will leave that to your imagination. when you answer all the questions i asked you below, and give me the correct answers, then i might decide to clue you in. but i want to see you put your foot in your mouth first.

  • I refuse to make assumptions about who you are, which is why I asked. I am trying to understand the logic for your hatred of fundamentalist Christians.

  • again read what i have written below. why do you refuse to read the explanation i have already written?

  • Incidentally, I appreciate your admission that you hate fundamentalist Christians. We seem to be making progress. So as a fundamentalist Christian, who you apparently hate, I would like to know why you hate me? What did I do to you? More important what did a fundamentalist ever do to YOU? Not what did a group I belong to do to another group you don't belong to, what have I or any other fundamentalist done to you?

  • apparently again you have not written what i wrote. when you do that, your lame excuses can begin.

  • Apparently I am the only person who has read what you wrote. You seem to think that what you wrote is self explanatory - it is not. You make numerous accusations and I see no effort by you to rationally substantiate your accusations. So I am trying to break it down. You seem to think you know what I will say before I have said it. Clearly you don't.

  • apparently you have not or you would not ask the same question over and over again. and who is everyone else your flock of ignorant fundamentalist liars?

  • sorry for the typo:

apparently again you have not read what i wrote. when you do that, your lame excuses can begin.

  • and my primary question to you is why do you feel so compelled to hate so much?

  • OK, so let's try this. You say I "hate". Who is it that "I" am supposed to "hate". According to you I hate blacks. Can we agree that you have accused "me" of hating blacks.

  • jesus christ almighty...read what i wrote you idiot!

  • See, this is the problem with this. You say I "hate" and the minute I try to get specific, you flip out. Why? Because, as an old friend of mine used to say, "he's already made up his mind and doesn't want to be confused with the facts". You can't deal with facts because your hatred of me is built on a flimsy, emotional and illogical basis.

  • one last time, read what i wrote. i can't make it any clearer than that. why can't you just take that thing called a mouse, scroll down and read what i wrote. what is so damned hard about that? are you fundamentally stupid too that you can't scroll down and READ!

  • You have written plenty. I have asked specific questions and you have dodged all of them. All you do is level wide ranging, generalized accusations. If you think you have already answered a specific question previously, and I missed the answer, then use your mouse, copy and paste the answer in reply to my question.

  • and you fundamentalist moron i have given your answers except who i am. if you have no desire to scroll down, and read those answers, then you bigoted liar, fuck off...that's all you people are good for anyway.

  • Well thanks for establishing who the real hater is. All the best.

  • like they say fuck up, it takes a hater to know a hater.

  • Barney, you have to understand that there is is no such thing as intellectual discussions with those on the far left. They are wrapped up in emotions, not rational thought. They devote all their energies in attacking the right as opposed to defending their core beliefs. They often use insulting, personal attacks such as "fundamentalist moron" only because they have no solid ground upon which to defend themselves. It just comes off as pretty desperate to me. Sad

  • I hate to be the one to break this to you, but some of these emotional people that you are referring to are on the far right. These are the younger libertarian Ron Paul supporters who see government conspiracies behind every rock. They also don't like religious people who, like me, claim to be conservative. They're an odd bunch but will quiet down once the primaries are over and their options are Thompson, Clinton or obscurity.

  • Oh, I agree, the far right also has it's share of those who are governed by emotion rather than rational thought. I also agree with you regarding how this will all boil down (barring any major surprises) regarding Clinton vs Thompson, I've been predicting that for some time now.

  • The difference between the far right, and the far left, is that the far left is a much larger group and have successfully gained control of the Democratic party. While it would appear that they have limited control of Ms. Clinton, they do have surprising control over Reid, Pelosi and many members of congress. That entire bunch are nothing but feelings.

  • How did Constitutionalism become "far-right?" I think Ron Paul's message is important to all Americans, regardless party lines or political leanings. Perhaps it is the so-called Republicans that have become out of touch with the traditional conservative ideals, if not completely duped by the neo-conservatives, who are not at all conservative, but rather big-government authoritarians.

  • Ron Paul's message is largely libertarian. The reason he is a Republican is two fold. First, the Republican party is closer to a libertarian view than the Democrats. Second, there are an insufficient number of libertarians for Ron Paul to float his boat with that obscure party. From my perspective, having had lengthy discussions with libertarians, there is much thet disagree with each other about. Question for you, was Ronald Reagan a neo-conservative?

  • Fred's christian fundamentalist wife made a video response. She's a great dancer and a lawyer! ;-)

  • by the way...my last post was a response to seekster

  • The south has been red for years. Its rural America that typically votes Republican. Look at a county by county breakdown of the 04 election. Notice the blue counties contain large cities. Its a cultural divide between the rural culture which supports Republican views in general and the urban culture that supports Democrat views in general. There is nothing wrong with this, it goes to show that Democracy works.

  • Oh God the Ron Paul CFR Conspiracy nuts have infested this place real good. Hey Larry we are gonna need more ovaltine please.

  • I think what you meant to say was the CFR has infested our COUNTRY!

  • Nope just that the CFR conspiracy nuts have infested this thread.

  • Seekster : Do you like the idea of merging our borders with Canada and Mexico? This is exactly what The Council on Foreign Relations (CFR) is trying to do. If you want this; you are not much of an American. Look up NAFTA Superhighway and see for yourself....

  • Before you start declaring your doctorate let me just tell you that your not the first CFR nutbag ive dealt with so yeah I know all about it. No one wants Mexico and Canada to merge with the USA including me. No organization could successfully pull that off. You cant cover something like that up completely. If the CFR really wants to do that then they are welcome to try but they cant possibly succeed. Ive seen the "evidence" and Im not convinced.

  • I think you underestimate the members of the CRF...in my opinion they are some of the world most dangerous villains a.k.a ....Terrorists. Anyway, no use arguing about it..time will tell. although I don't think I'll get much joy when I get to say "I told you so" and by the way...calm down a bit...you post like a timeshare salesman on crack.

  • If they really wanted to merge the US with Canada and Mexico they would have to take a definitive step which had to be public. There is no way the public would go for that. Just as the people stopped Congress from forcing that God-awful immigration bill down our throats we would do the same if some organization tried to steal our sovereignty. I trust in the people and so I do not worry about imaginary threats. Instead I focus on real threats, like terrorism.

  • A 4 second video about what Fred Thompson wore to a country fair. I fail to see how that is a slip up. Its a free country you can wear what you like and people at a Country Fair aren't so shallow that they would judge a man by the shoes he wears. Still it seems this comment thread needs the Seekster treatment so its time to go to work.

Vote Fred Thompson 2008 and 2012!!!

  • oh, cool, thompson's wife did a video reply--wait--that's a webcam stripper.

  • hey guys, come and check out this new band!! :) Videos will be coming soon...

watch?v=N2yQPJTuUEk <----- our logo and the first song that we are going to cover :) Subscribe if you like :D

  • Haha... I have worn Gianni Barbato shoes/boots every day, every where for the las two years. Stop hassling people with good taste.

  • ..don't ever apologize to jealous people for having money.

  • who gives a shit

  • What was he thinking? Gucci shoes at a country fair? This guy is out of control. He'll be trouble down the line I tell ya.

  • does fox not like fred thompson? I mean he's pretty damn republican - probably best one - though I like ron paul much better - what does fox have against fred thompson?

  • they are great for taking naps in...

  • Yes Vote Fred Thompson, more tax cuts and hand outs for the wealthy, more crappy life for everyone else, youd think people would learn something with 7 years of Bush

  • Why is it so wrong to have gucci loafers at a country fair? Someone enlighten me!

  • I guess he should be wearing cowboy boots?

  • what wrong with that, this people are weird

  • quality footwear is a slip up?

  • the whole planet is fukked no matter

who gets in so enjoy your life while you

    can

no matter who you elect, the oil is going

to peak and then look out.

  • First of all, forget the Gucci's, look at that perfect break in the hem. Who is Fred Thompson's taylor? Let's give that some press. And as much as this bothered me, I saved it until the end, he's not wearing Gucci Loafers, they are Salvatore Ferragamo's. Get your facts straight!

  • vote for RON PAUL

  • Please refer me to the CFR document that states national boundaries should be obliterated. I have yet to see this mysterious document despite the fact that all you Ron Paul/conspiracy fans refer to it. Let's have some facts.

  • it doesnt matter were all going to die once iran nukes the fuck out of us and i didnt even ask for it, its all the republicans fault but i promise once this country is in shambles because of the failed administration in going after you and your golf caddy, stupid fat white guys with double chins and liver spots

  • Come on! You know the words! Sing along!

Comfortable shoooooeeeessss... Ones that'll bring me..... Back! To yoooouuuuuu.... Comfortable shoooooeeeeesss....

  • WHAT THE FUCK MAn!!!! Remove this video

  • damn libs, go to hell baby killing asshole fucking niggers

  • Here comes the tinfoil hat brigade!

Make sure you moonbats stay in lock-step, now!

Wouldn't want any of you wandering off the nazi path.

Oh, and for the record, I always KNEW Angelina Jolie was a

part of the NWO conspiracy! That little CFR member tramp!

Heh... you guys are a joke.

  • The big joke is they all are supporting Ron Paul or Dennis Kucinich. They cry fire then look for gasoline to put it out.

  • Heh... good point.

On a side note, isn't it funny now most of Ron Paul's support seems to come from the far left?

  • Edwards' haircut is more expensive than Thompson's shoes.

  • WTF Jfk was not that great of a man. He is idealized that he is but in truth he did very little besides cheat on his wife and work on keepinga positive image.

  • Almost as funny as Tony Perkins, Gary Bauer, and Richard Land (evangelical hucksters) eating crow when the NYTIMES showed them Thompon's billing records for pro-choice lobbying.

  • I don't give a crap what kind of shoes he wears. He's a puppet of corporations and the Council on Foreign Relations. Fuck that BASTARD.

  • FOX NEWS SUCKS

  • Those aren't Gucci's, they are Ferragammo.

  • this is why FOX likes it up the butt.

  • give nigga bling bling

  • gay

  • And the libs on Youtube come out to defend a Republican's shoes to bash Fox News. Only on Youtube.

  • no they come out to defend a guys right to where shoes.

  • You say "libs" as if it is a bad thing. Being a conservative right wingnut is the bad thing. The founding fathers were liberals, Lincoln was a liberal, FDR, JFK were liberals. The scum buckets like Nixon, Agnew, Reagan, and all those convicted criminals are conservatives.

  • Being a lib is a bad thing, ever heard of Jimmy Carter and Clinton? (The coward and the perjurer)

  • Bill Clinton was great for this country, Dumbya is the liar, murderer, supporter of the wealthy .00001 % and screwed everyone else on everything he touched. Dumbya needs to be impeached, convicted and hanged for treason. He will stand as the worst president for 10000 years.

  • Get an education, loser. Clinton was impeached and disbarred for undermining the entire judicial system with his lies, under oath, because he though he could decide what was material. He's a perjurer who breached his Oath of Office. He committed treason of the highest order. President Bush has been great for the world.

  • lol , you for real???

  • What did Clinton do that was so wrong? Some bitch gave him a Blow Job, Did you ever hear of Jennifer Fitzgerald? That is right she is the mistrees Bush Sr. had from his time as Vice President till the time he left the White House, I guess when a Republican does it it is ok...

  • who cares about what kind of shoes

    he wears?

Oh wait America, worried about how much

more to buy and how much more needless

eating to do. Yeah, now it makes sense.

America is almost in as much decay as

    the U K is.

  • wearing GUCCI loafers? who gives a shit! Oh wait, FOX, news, never mind.

  • We are really F##ed it has come to down to shoes.

  • Whats wrong with having Gucci loafers?

  • seriously!!!!!!!

  • <b>ABC NEWS POLL</b>

Who Do You Think Won the Democratic Debate?

    abcnews.go. com/Politics/Decision2008/popup?id=3493427

    I picked "<i>Nobody won. I'm voting Republican.</i>"

Would be funny if "<i>Nobody won</i>" WON.

  • LOL.

Next thing we will see is Hillary in her Mens Boxers!

  • Have any of you Fred attackers actually watched the whole Fox report on this story. This was the lead in to a picture of Fred holding a pig up for the cameras. I haven't seen a Democrat holding up a pig yet - it's probably out of professional courtesy to the pig.

  • i saw it on tv. clearly the republican reporter from FOX is not a thompson fan since his wife worked for bush's re-election campaign.

say what you want but the bumbling republicans have already lost the congress AND the whitehouse in 08, they're just trying to save face for the mess they have made of america in the last 13 years.

  • The wife worked for Bush's campaign - so he can't be a Thompson fan. Gee, I didn't realize Bush was running in 08. Oh, I forgot, Hillary plans to run against Bush in 08, so I guess that's how you made the connection.

  • HEY BARNEY RUBBLE, he is not a thompson fan. get it, it is not for thompson. he disdains him. get it. this reporter DOES NOT LIKE THOMPSON. why is that so hard for you to understand one republican might not like another. boy the more you righties talk, the dumber you become.

  • Oh, I finally figured it out, wntoply6 is a genuine fagola. This is why you're so uptight about religion.

  • haha, and so you win many friends and influence many people with that argument huh patsagainstrats? lets see how much lower you can go in your worthless arguments now.

  • I get the distinct impression that, somewhere along the line, you were booted out of a church for wearing a pink wifebeater, with the word "QUEER" stenciled across the chest.

  • blah, blah, blah! you have now degraded yourself to a point you're not worth talking to. if you're an example of christians, god help the church he created.

  • In the 17th Century, men wore shoes and mules with a square toe, often blocked and domed. Women decide that a pointed toe is more feminine. An important innovation in 1660 was the buckle to fasten a shoe. Samuel Pepes's writes in his diary of 22nd January 1660, "This day I began to put on buckles to my shoes".

  • Honestly, I would have figured a homosexual, like yourself, would have appreciated Thompson's choice in stylish footwear. Assuming, of course, that his wife didn't pick them out for him, which was probably the case.

  • From 1892 to 1913, the rubber footwear divisions of U.S. Rubber were manufacturing their products under 30 different brand names. The company consolidated these brands under one name. When choosing a name, the initial favorite was Peds, from the Latin meaning foot, but someone else held that trademark.

  • In its first form the shoe was just a simple piece of plaited grass or rawhide which was strapped to the feet. Among the relics of early Egyptians are some sandals made from plaited papyrus leaves, beautifully and artistically wrought.

  • Hey I fit Right In..I am JUST like you..And I kniow what You Need

  • Tech News: Motorized shoes

  • yes, that is very important -- US economy down the toilet, troops dying and killing in Iraq -- we really need to know what friggin shoes people are wearing

  • Hollywood Fred is a little gucci in his loafers.

  • This, from a Mike Grovel supporter...a candidate who has his head so far up his ass, he couldn't even get it together to fill out the proper paperwork, so he could participate in the AFL-CIO Democrat Debate. How's an asshole like that going to run a country?

  • hahah ooh yeea, what disaster

  • I hope he doesn't step in any pig shit while he's being golf carted around the state fair.

  • haha..wtf..Fox doesn't have any more news to broadcast?...

  • and Fox has been broadcasting news since when? lol.

  • Looks like they forgot to change his shoes for him. He's an actor. He'll do whatever his backers want. Americans should reject this crass attempt to hijack our system, yet again.

  • he is such a scumbag. He is on the CFR(council on foreign relations),and with the same goons who want to destroy the Constitution in order to establish the North American Union.

  • fox news sucks balls

  • Shoes? big friggin deal!!!

How about the fact that he supports the NAFTA?

  • Fuck Fox

    Fuck Fred

  • Look like skis instead of shoes.

  • i thought that too!

  • :04??? hmmmm...Check out Dawn of Tree Man by Dod3032.

  • What a hack.

  • WHOOOOOOOOOOO CARES!

  • lol, Rupert Murdoch must not want Thompson to win.

  • De minimis, Fred, drove around for an hour then he returned home to Washington.

  • Oh Lord. A John Edwards phony equivalent on the republican side.

  • What the hell is wrong with wearing nice shoes? Plastic chinese made shoes makes you down home country in Iowa? Why those Iowans buy John Deere tractors, when there are much cheaper imports from Korea? They must be snobby farmers....

  • That's not quite as bad as John Kerry's 8000.00 bicycle, or John Edawards' 1200.00 haircuts.

  • if you knew anything about bicycling, you'd know that if you are serious about biking, you would spend several gs on a good bike, regardless of your income (as long as you had some disposable income) and that bike is in no way a status symbol, unlike a pair of ferragamo shoes, which are nothing but a status symbol. And john edwars haircut was $400 no $1200.
