If everything goes well, the english dub should be done in a few months for this show. A group was at Anime St.Louis this year recruiting extra voices for the cast of the new english dub

The company is doing both english subs and an english dub, so you don't need to worry. :) And they're working pretty hard to keep the dub as accurate as possible.

While I hope everythign goes well with this and they managed to pull this off, I'm REALLY hoping that they manage to just make Raijin-oh a (fairly low-priced) box set. Otherwise I doubt it will sell (especially after how poorly GaoGaiGar did. Most American anime veiwers seem to hate Super Robots...).

Either way, I'd love to see this!

Oh this brings back memories. Yes, Weils they showed Matchless Raijin-Oh back in the early 90s in Singapore on Ch 8 at around the time kids were crazy over Power Rangers Dino Megazords. But I prefer Raijin-Oh much more over Power Rangers and I even went to get both Raijin-Oh & Bakuryu-Oh which can form God Raijin-Oh.

That's odd... I'm positive this is not the song I heard back in Malaysia where I watched this anime. I even have a VHS recording of about 10 sec of the opening (it was cut short so more episodes could fit) and that is a completely different music. For example: it's a male singer in that version :P

I used to watch raijin oh when I was a kid. Raijin oh was aired on RPN 9 Philippines. The bad news is that it might take another decade for us too watch it on philippine tv. The good news, Raijin oh is now on hero(cable) so prepare to pay a pretty penny just to watch it. ARRRRRRGH! kailan ko ito ulit mapapanood sa black and white tv ko?!
