when u create this look it has to start further from the face to look right and if they are white they usually require some fake hair braided in so the braid isnt so flat and thin.

I don't see what the issue is. Looks as if she did it quite well, if you ask me. If you want a good looking french braid, that's as gentle as it's going to get. Any gentler and the hair's going to poke out every which way, making it look more amateurish than anything else.

To be honest...if you are black you are used to it. Its called cornrolls to us. and the tighter the better...last longer...we do that all over our heads and then "sew" in weave to achieve a longer lasting hair style. The tighter the braid the better. It was good. She could do my hair if I needed it. Just prepare for a headache for 2 to 3 days afterwards.

I don't think her hair is unhealthy (ppl who think that, are assuming she is white). I think she may be biracial with hair straightened out w/ a blow dryer and a round brush. this is how mine looks if i straighten it and don't flatiron it, but it's very healthy and looks shiny and bouncy in its natural state or if i use a flatiron. she may be mixed, or have very curly hair naturally.
