  • I've talked to a couple of ex necrophagist players and let's just say from what they told me, his ego is what's kept the album from being released. Not saying anything bad about him, just throwing an idea out there as to why we have yet to see it released.

  • One day. One day..........

  • Since it takes so long, it will only turn out to be more awesome if they work more on it.

This is the only song of the new album and Muhammed said it's one of the weaker tracks.

    Let's just wait patiently.

  • Personalli, I think it does have the flow!

  • im waiting for the new album and half life 2 episode 3

  • THIS IS IN HOUSTON? WHERE THE FUCK WAS I WHEN THIS HAPPENED?

  • NECROPHAGIST,

    Y U NO RELEASE ALBUM?

  • Both Necrophagist and Wintersun need to release new albums already!

  • If necrophagist ever decided to unleash the new album i would run through the streets naked.

  • @websterx9 you said it man!

  • @websterx9 film it and give me a link haha

  • @BODOMmETALwolF lolgay xD

  • @websterx9 no not really, i just want to see if you're true to your word. i'm not interested in you doing it per se just the idea of it is quite funny

  • Holy shit, cannot wait to get the studio version of this, I'd cum so hard and so many times if I could fully delight the riffs... Friggin Necrophagist! release the album guys!

  • I also think Onset sounds a lot more "raw" than Epitaph, and I like the sound more.

  • 0:13 When that guy throws up his arms on the left. That's just perfect. I love metal shows because that is appropriate. That dude was feeling it.

  • so is album ever coming out?

  • @DeathToRealMetal

    Nope. never. ever.

  • @cthep why not???

  • isnt that a 7 string?

  • @blankman355 yep hes using the ibanez xiphos 7. a guitar muhammed suicemez designed and endorses. its got 27 frets which is also pretty sick.

  • Epitaph was more organic sounding imo

  • is it me or do some of these riffs sound a lot like Ignominious & Pale and Epitaph (the song)?

  • @cessationofwill89 alot of necro riffs sound simmilar lol

  • Onset is better than Epitaph by 1000x, IMO.

  • @largemoose No....Only Ash Remains and Stabwound alone kick Onset in the balls....

  • @AntiBushCheneyMan Lol, both albums kick major ass, if it's stupid to encounter two albums of the same band, and more when they both are completely awesome... so stay with Epitaph if you like, I'll stay with NECROPHAGIST !!! :D

  • @TheRaven0us I didn't mean to say that Onset was bad, on the contrary xD I listen to it daily.

I just said I prefer Epitaph songwise xD

A hero kicking another hero in the balls still leaves the other one a her, no? xd

  • this crowd bloooooows

  • CANTT WAIT FOR THE NEW FUCKIN ALBUM!!!!!!!!

  • God i want a new album...by the time the album actually comes out, this song will be tabbed out perfectly based on this damn video....

  • @jakengle4 HAHA necrophagist fans huh?

  • shut up fags

necro is a band guitarists love and they want to watch

  • they arent moshing because the epicness of the song is rendering them unable to move

  • Are they sleeping?

  • The crowd is dead!...would be diferent in Brazil!

  • This is pretty cool, but goddamn that snare sounds like shite.

  • @bouvre Mhmm...never knew opinions and personal preferences can be "wrong".

  • @cthep They can, indeed! Youre wrong, hes right, cause he said that. Got that?^^

  • @cthep wait until its played on a recording. lots of times live performances are way too sped up, hyper and blurry to even get the feel of the "real" song unless you know it already. most people view songs based on knowing the recordings live, not the reverse. hold judgement before and establish the structures, layers, tempo, mood and feel on a recording first.

  • @cthep Your opinion is wrong! Haha

  • @cthep on the internet they can be wrong! lol

  • mmm yes shallow and padantic

  • @cthep They most defiantly can be!

  • @bouvre i prefer epitaph album, it's more melodic than onset of putrefaction, and the guitar solos at epitaph are really funny, to play and listen, it's nor repetitive album as you say.

  • Muhammad Suicmez... more like Muhammad Abdel Aziz HAHA. I have a feeling Necrophagist will dominate with their new album

  • The snare? It sounds different.

  • I can't wait any longer for this new album!! FUCK!!

  • song is ism

  • this song has a sick bass line

  • Bonsoir mon ami ! Je suis un très grand fan français de Necrophagist !

I think they are one of the best band on Earth !

  • I hear a very distinct similarity to Immolation, as far as the riffs go. I'm honestly diggin this new song. I hope the rest of the album offers the same... what's the word.... testicular fortitude? yea, that's it.

  • Others says Necro always produces so much technicality while others says they only just do fast riffing and grinding... whatever... mainly, even it is a technical death band or what it will be always under the genre of Death Metal, many scattered subgenre of death it can always flow with different kinds of ideas and elements... But still it is always Death Metal...

  • @raymetalmaggot exactly, it takes SUCH skill to match them, that shit is SO HARD TO PLAY!

  • whats this silly fucking shit?

  • i agree with your video description

  • Necrophagist is about creativity and technicallity in death metal. If you want "brutal" garbage listen to suicide silence.

  • @harkatmulds9 But Suicide Silence isn't Brutal. If you want Brutal, listen to Abominable Putridity, Guttural Secrete, or Defeated Sanity (which is also amazingly technical). Suicide Silence is just watered down trash. Doesn't even deserve the title of brutal. It's 14-year-old-kid-at-the-mall-core.

  • look at that sexy Xiphos!!!!!

  • I'm praying he doesnt bring that clicky bass drum onto the new record.

  • you coons its heavy technical brutal everything

  • am i the only one who much prefers focus on composition over brutality? it's still a form of music and the level of heaviness should be a by-product to enhance the musicality IMO.

  • Epitaph and Onset were both amazing. I'm not arsed about 'brutality'. I just prefer it when the music is extremely well composed and talented - an experience to be heard.

  • Onset is definitely much better than epitaph. I really hope that they focus on the brutal aspects of the music on this new album. Its going to be sick no matter what, but i need some brutal sludgy kill people music!

  • Onset was nearly perfect: varied, coherent, amazing production, FUCKING LETHAL (the hairs still stand on the back of my neck when i listen). Epitaph was more musical and in a lot of ways more intelligent, but Muhammed and Christian sacrificed brutality for subtlety and homages to classical composers. It seems like a continuation of Epi. Don't get me wrong, it's still good, but the best death metal is about recreating pure hatred and violence (with timbre, not lyrics, just to clarify).

  • @xaer04 I'm sorry but statements like this fucking piss me off. "the best death metal is about recreating pure hatred and violence." That is just retarded. I cannot stand the people who listen to "death" metal just because they have a bunch of misdirected anger that they can only vent by listening to fucking Cannibal Corpse and other overrated shit. Also, Onset was by no means amazing production. It was decent. That's about it.

  • @tofumut77 What you did is called projection. That's when you have an emotional problem and assume everyone else has it so you feel better about yourself. Case in point: you got "fucking pissed" about my harmless opinion and said I have anger issues. When you make an argument, don't contradict yourself within the same paragraph.

Why do you think they call it "Death Metal"? The love songs?

Epitaph = muddy, Onset = not. So, Onset production = better. Or are you using some other metric?

  • @xaer04 They call it Death metal because of the band Death and all of Chuck Schudliner's accomplishments in changing the metal genre, rather 'expanding' it. Even though Savatage started selling the first death metal album, it's still contributed to Chuck and his stuff. Man oh man, I remember those good old days...

  • @vertebrae03 Yea ur correct...

  • @vertebrae03 True, but I make the distinction that death metal ought to be heavy (NOT lyrically violent, I don't care what he's saying I care what the instruments are doing) because to me that's part of what differentiates it from pure progressive metal, speed metal, etc. Then again, you could probably write a freaking book about labeling different genres and it wouldn't be consistent because nowadays everyone mixes everything together, everything is constantly changing... and nobody agrees :(

  • @tofumut77 To be honest, I personally find albums with amazing production often sound like a bunch of machines playing metal, i.e the recent Behemoth record. If you took say... Suffocations Effigy of the Forgotten, and re-recorded it with pro-tools and all that bollocks it wouldn't have anywhere near as much intensity as the original.

  • @xaer04: "sacrificed brutality for subtlety and homages to classical composers." Sounds plenty brutal to me.

"recreating pure hatred and violence"? That's fucking stupid. You're obviously not an accomplished musician, no offense. Death metal is evolving and the better players are certainly more interested in creating interesting, good quality music rather than making sure it sounds brutal enough for the Cannibal Corpse fans.

  • @Drucef Wow, I state an opinion and all the trolls come out of the woodwork. My opinion has nothing to do with what kind of musician I am. Honestly, I resent the fact that you made me waste text explaining that. You sound like a fanboy and you obviously have no idea why I said what I said and you have no interest in finding that out. When you want to have a real conversation about music (in a few years when you're a big boy) then talk to me. Until then you're wasting your time flaming, troll.

  • @xaer04 Why does everyone feel the need to classify metal? Just listen to the music and enjoy it instead of bickering about whether or not Epitaph was composed to fit into your definition of what death metal is.

It's loud, It's heavy and the riffs confuse you as to how the fuck you could ever possibly compose them, so it's good shit.

  • @Arctandem The classification isn't as important as articulating why we like or dislike something, which matters to me because I am (arguably) a practicing musician. My guess is nobody wants to have a real discussion like that, which is why the bickering started, and I'm not one to sit there and indirectly be called stupid by someone who got their poor feelings hurt by my harmless opinion. The sad thing is, I said I liked it and people still reacted like I had just slapped their mother.

  • I am impressed, creative, catchy, skillful and another sick solo.

    I can't wait for Necrophagist's new album.

  • yes a good but the best on onset is definitely foul body autopsy then fermented offal discharge followed by advanced corpse tumor then intestinal incubation. Fuck it that whole CD is awe inspiring. Necrophagist FTW!!!!

  • There are many bands I like better than necro, Obscura like you said, also Carcass.

  • Intestinal incubation ftw, but I actually like the Epitaph album better.

  • Not the original version, plus they came from their 95' demo, fag.

  • No es un tema para cabecear y sentir adrenalina. Pero me gusto! como para escucharlo con atencion y detenimiento para apreciar la calidad y complejidad del tema.

  • does anyone know when the new necrophagists' album is out in stores??????

  • God, I love the intro to that solo. Menacing as hell.

  • Good band to listen to...at home

    BORING guys

  • @Pitaboel The fuck do you want them to do, hardcore dance? Do you play guitar or bass? Do you know how hard it is to even headbang while playing those riffs?

  • Does anyone know why its taking them fucking 6 years and counting to make a god damn 8 song album?

  • @darklord1776 yes, it's one word:

    Perfection(ist).

  • Thats true, also he was taking college engineering courses, not sure if he still is. I'm looking foward to the new album, and then hopefully they can be more active with album making.

  • How do you know its 8 songs?

  • I don't lol, their other albums have 8 songs. I had a feeling its just something they do. We'll see.

  • FUCK knows :( But its making me sad.

  • @darklord1776 : seriously man!!...something definitely went wrong with them..it's sad :(

  • they probably dont give a shit. its not like they make much money making music anyways.

  • what talent has left the band? you mean the new drummer they got that fits their style and can keep up with them WAY better?

  • does anybody know when this new album is coming out ?

  • never. It was supposed to be out last summer

  • thier stuck in amazment by the new song lol and hard core dancing is gay i mean your dancing thats sounds pretty gay.

  • Agreed. When seeing bands that are very technical ( Necrophagist, Origin, Spawn of possession, Anata, Obscura, etc not lamb of god) I would rather watch them play.

  • Come on, Muhammad is pretty good man.

    /watch?v=2H76LUCBIUg

  • fuck that crowd

  • absolutly

  • you don't mosh, you watch their fingers

  • omfg sami shaved his hair!!!!

  • you dont most, you just headbang. moshing promotes faggotry

  • @thisdivinebree dude, i understand what you mean man, but youre listening to songs that are mostly about cutting people up and eating them and zombies and brutal ways to murder people and shit. A few people are probably going to cause some collateral damage :D

i remember when in the pit, you slam eachother around, but if your fellow mosher hits the ground, you help them up man!! thats the way its SUPPOSED to be.

  • @thisdivinebree No, if the band is heavy enough, all the hardcore dancers will melt and you can play in their blood. I saw it happen.

  • @thisdivinebree AMEN!

  • @thisdivinebree I kind of agree with that....i prefer standing to the side or behind and just headbang.

  • how the fuck cant you mosh to this

  • yea just coz its something you cant solidly mosh to (because its so god damn technical) doesnt mean theyre bad live

    theyre fucking godly live

  • these are friggin aweseome live I don't know what you're talking about.

  • i love them live honestly

  • i think i see me in there, its too dark and i was wearing black but i think i can see myself, awesome video

  • there's nothing boring about them live. the music is the show! and it's amazing music

  • Shit ive been waiting so long for their new album im gonna shit me self wen its finally out

  • What the hell, i didnt even know they were making one, when the fuck does it come it?

  • Not soon enough led

  • not until next year when their contract with relapse records expires.

  • necro awesome

  • does anybody know when tha new album drops?

  • it drops when i hit puberty

  • 2010 sometime

  • freaking awsome

    can't wait for the album

  • ...nice!

  • Comment removed

  • Mm i know why you say they're boring live, but I wouldn't expect them to be jumping around with the level of difficulty that they're songs are... Nice song btw :)

  • agreed. but i find their hands to be very exciting to watch! lol.

  • Like spiders on a mixture of speed, coffee and cocaine :D

  • hahahaha. so true XD

  • Its only boring because no one fucking moshes. No one even moves. It pisses me off.

  • you would be moshing to a new necrophagist song?

i saw them live at summer slaughter and hardly anyone was moving, even to tracks from epitaph.

i dont think this is a band to mosh to, its a band to watch and marvel that they can play this stuff live and have it sound like they put the CD through the PA

  • I think you are right but USA crowd really never moves... i have seen live perfomances of behemoth, belphegor, etc.. and crowd never moves..........

  • you're watching the wrong videos.

  • Really ? show me some that change my mind

  • i saw belphegor live and the pit was intense.

  • me too man, got my nose smashed in :P

  • Should of saw Behemoth a couple years ago in Milwaukee. We had 2 pits going that merged into 1 huge ass 1 lol

  • Haha went to a Lamb of God concert. We literally got the whole crowd going in a giant circle pit. EVERYONE spread out and then they started playing Redneck and we started running around and just during the intro, everyone ran towards the center and just started moshing like fucking crazy...YOu gotta love sharing those moments with your metal brethren eh? :P

  • definatlly, its was exaxctlly like that in calgary last april on the no fear tour, but it was black label when everybody flooded the floor and started moshing

  • when i saw them it was the same way. its hard to mosh when your face is being melted

  • @coleholcomb: Because you're a poser.

  • true

  • this is not boring at all. this is very intelligent death metal

  • i cant believe i missed this fucking show...

  • I can't even begin to imagine how amazing that solo is going to sound on the studio version.

It's good to know they've been writing.

  • whats the name of the new album?

  • It says III on wiki, but I wouldn't trust it lol

  • Is the new album coming out sometime in 2009? I haven't heard much about it :(

    Kickass song by the way!

  • they said it was going to come out for summer slaughter but obviously it didn't. so who knows. damn crafty germans/turks

  • i saw a video with Sami, he said the new album is coming in early 2010

  • necrophagist ruls!

  • WOW this quality is amazing better than when I saw it live myself lol...yeah and about them being boring, ever notice that muhammed says the same thing after every song?? Either way they still rule.

  • Avec Romain au drum, j'attend leur prochain album impatiament :D. Ca promet!

  • I was at that exact show, and I can tell you 1st hand they were in no way Boring, the man who posted this video isn't a real fan if he found them boring.

Just cause they have no show on stage don't mean shit, It's some of the most technical music every produced, and it has wonderufl melody on top of that.

if you think this band is "Boring" live, then your just a negative thinker.

  • Or maybe, just maybe it's personal preference.

  • Yeah i agree i read alot of people on the internet saying Necrophagist is boring live. I've been to one of their shows and it's in no way boring, I think some people might think it's boring because their not jumping around like the queers from shitknot, Others might say it's boring because their jelous of Muhammed and his shredding skills

    Necrophagist is great live

  • +1, also i think they can't be jumping and running on stage because of their extremely technical songs.

  • i agree with muffin, i saw them live and muhammed plays enough like a god to make it incredible, let alone the pit. i dont understand how a fan of necrophagist could find this boring

  • i just came

  • yeah i do suppose your right

  • what a shitty crowd ??

  • the crowds like dead wtf?

  • Uhhhh, have you ever been to Houston Tx in June? It fucking sucks! It is 4 million degrees and 2000% humidity. just standing in an enclosed building with all those sweaty fuckfaces is bad enough. Just watching a show there is a chore and somewhat of a burden. I'm surprised no bands had any members collapse on stage.

  • oh ok. didnt know it was held there

  • lol yeah fuck that it sucks balls

  • Yeah, try playing these kind of shows inside and outside down here in south Texas like every other day, it is fucking hot down here! lol

  • I've been to Texas during the summer, My balls became one with my leg haha, I hate humidity, Heat is one thing but when you add that humidity it's alot worse, I've played in that kind of heat too, My shirt was completey soaked from my sweat

  • it sucks when you're practicing.

    wayyyy too hot man
