I think Ringo is doin' great, sounds great, and has sure been an influence to many musicians. His All Star tours are great fun. Joe Walsh is as good now as he's ever sounded since he's gotten clean and sober. These guys are all the real deal. Paid their dues and they're still kickin' ass. Unlike so many of the studio manufactured pretty boy bands of today. The music is what matters with these guys. As far as not signing autographs? That comes with being a "star". I think it's wrong to refuse.

But what about the kid who's favorite drummer is Ringo, and he FINALLY gets a chance to meet his hero and Ringo turns down signing something for the kid. I think that's part of Ringo's job as a start. As well as the rest of them. I met Joe Walsh a couple times. One night he signed a t-shirt and I asked if I could get a picture. His manager or whoever he was said no. I was floored!
I was real excited, couldn't believe I actually was meeting him. It was the first time I'd met him. I thought it was a lousy thing to do. I mean here's the guy who's been the biggest influence on my playing and I can't believe I actually got to meet him, say hello good gig, and then get turned down for a snap shot with him! I'm still a little pissed! lol At that moment I was sorry I ever spent a dime on his records. That was how that made me feel. Joe stood there shrugging his shoulders.......

I saw him and his all star band on the 6th. He still sounds and plays great, we all sang Happy B-day to him. A real down to earth person not a pompous bone in his body. First class show and what an honor to see him. If anyone is lucky enough to get tickets to see him you have just won the lottory.
Yeah, he does look good esp for a music star that lived thru the 60's of peace, love and drugs! The fact he lived to his 70's and is coherent is amazing too! Way to go and many more years Ringo!

I saw him and his all star band on the 6th. He still sounds and plays great, we all sang Happy B-day to him. A real down to earth person not a pompous bone in his body. First class show and what an honor to see him. If anyone is lucky enough to get tickets to see him you have just won the lottory.

Yeah, he does look good esp for a music star that lived thru the 60's of peace, love and drugs! The fact he lived to his 70's and is coherent is amazing too! Way to go and many more years Ringo!
