@jobasha323 Raised in captivity they might be handled, but when you consider that the muscle structure God gave them is second to none, you have to be careful about it. In the wild, the wolverines are leery of large human presences, which is why their range is declined. Against a single human being, though, they will make an attempt to run you off their terrain... which is about 1000 square kilometers for the males.
Wolverines don't rape you dumbass. They wouldn't harm a human unless being handled in a trap. Also wolverines don't kill full grown cattle unless in a sick weakened state. calves possibly and yet they seldom venture near ranches. Trapping was the reason for the major decline of wolverine numbers in North America. Human encroachment has surely had a hand in it's decline.
@Gulftango11 Yeah, playing at the zoo is not a fight. Also, when there is giggling in a "fight" video... not a real fight. Boring, misleading text and a total waste of time. 2 thumbs down.
Tough luck mate, wolverines are the wisest and most fierce and feared predator of the great north. Cougars take second position. There is a good reason wolverines almost went extinct: because the only thing above it in the food chain is either a mountain lion or us. After numerous deaths and loss of cattle due to wolverines, Canadian settlers and trappers in the 1700s tried to kill everyone of them. So yeah, keep dreaming.
@Syizik You don't know your michigan history. A few years back a real wolverine was spotted in the thumb area, and had it's picture in the papers. That was a VERY BIG deal to us native Michiganders at the time, because prior to that, one hasn't been seen here in abt 200 years! GO BLUE!!
@Syizik again you are wrong. Wolverines inhabitated most of upper North American including the Maritimes down to the Carolinas. Across the Midwest States and throughout Northern California. Please get your facts straight before posting. GJD
Wolverines are intense, trust me I grew up in the North American woods! If you and your family live in a cabin in the woods you run the risk that a wolverine will break in, eat your kids and rape your wife. I'm not kidding, beware these wolverines are bad ass ! P.S. If you have a dog or cat go missing you can guarantee a wolverine ate it or raped it to death!
@Biff1234569 this is true. i grew up in northern montana. we had several close encounters with many large predators. but none is worse than the wolverine. they are just as crazy and violent everyone says. we lost three dogs to wolverines. we came home once and found a dog half eaten in our living room. but the worst encounter with a wolverine happened before i was born. a wolvering broke into my grandparents home and killed a dog and raped my grandma. she barely survived.
in every video with a wolf vs wolverine, the wolverine uses the "rolling stunt". in the "blue" wolf v wolverine video, the wolverine uses this move to attach to the bottom of the wolves neck and jaw.
There are records of wolves killing wolverines but I don´t remember about the opposite, unless someone prove me otherwise which would be interesting. :)
They don't kill wolves or bears, but they don't back down from a fight either. The larger predators just aren't willing to sacrifice all that energy and risk injury.
Another cool animal of similar character is the Honey Badger.
@hornetpalooza I don't know man, I seen and heard of wolverines kill bears............these are extermely aggressive animals and extermely energetic.
The problem about that polar bear account is that´s nowadays treated as a pure hoax.
No wolverine scientific expert nowadays believe on that account. I had the fortune to read the original account on Carnivora forum and that account was treated like a story book hoax , hence the reason that´s not included in any scientific article about wolverine. I´m a cool guy, I admire wolverines, but polar bears are just on another league. Even blackies.
I only heard about that Wolverines are hunting occasionally lynx. But I never heard about killed wolves and even polar bears by wolverines. It is more possible that wolverines attack wolves and bears, and those turn away. The wolverine seems to have quite a strong muzzle and very sharp claws.
nice.
There is also an interesting video about wolverines fighting
- some people filmed 2 wolvs fighting in some rural area in Sweden. They chase each other for a long time on a snowy road.
I recall seeing it in swedish youtube.. wolverine would be "järv". Can't find it anymore.

I hate wolverines, because they're bullies.
People on YouTube are always showing footage of wolverines winning against other animals. It's really annoying.
I would be satisfied if some people on YouTube would show videos of wolverines LOSING in fights against other animals.
