Bike tires are not made for rear friction the tube will pop all the time. Solid Rubber Tire thy are no good. if there is a bike tire out there please. Let me know. charlenecarter60@gmail.com
Not true. I ride the hills of san francisco and friction drive works well wet or dry. That is why there is adjustments to how much pressure the roller exerts on the tire. Just tighten her up a bit.

will it wear out the tread on the tire?
falaqdad15 1 year ago
@falaqdad15 Probably more quickly, but not right away. I haven't put many miles on the bike, as it was built as kind of a novelty.

@falaqdad15 Tires are often cheaper than chains, and a half-worn tire works better than a half-worn chain.

the problem is that once your tire gets wet or muddy dtc this whole system sucks balls go with the 68 cc 2 stroke

by the way how do u hold the engine on to the mount?
yoyostefan 2 years ago
Yes, it works quite well. The only problem is, once the engine is engaged, you don't want to disengage and start pedaling.
