These guys are worth paying to see. I'm continually amazed that so many people have nothing better to do than post snide comments on the Web. Just like the Beatles were inspired by Elvis and Buddy Holly, so this band was inspired by Johnny Cash and Ry Cooder. At least they have taste. If they had been inspired by Pat Boone and Fabian Forte the result might have been different.
try reading the whole title - obviously you don't get it - they make no claim to be any other than TONEREISE - you know, like "from Tonereise" - I don't speak any Norweigian, but I see our English word "tone" in there - who knows, maybe their name translates to mellow tones - any Noreigians out there ?
@eblunot I just listen to tonereise (the vid) you ask what "tonereise" could mean? Although I am not norwegian -"Reise" in German is a journey - here a music journey
Oh common, it isn't that bad. He is mumbling and eating the microphone, and the song seems in too low a key for his voice, but its not that bad. And there are only 7 instruments.. all of them on a very small stage which makes them look like more. Too cramped for a good show, but it really isn't too bad.
This is magnificent! I loved it!

Good song well performed I thought. Nothing wrong with singing in that key, he just needs mixing better. Sounds like it was in a shed.
