No one has really liked Shakespeare's Titus, and it is to this day considered by well-known critics as one of his 'problem plays'. It is just not very right to portray meat-lovers in this light, and I suspect Shakespeare was himself going through a vegetarian phase when he wrote the play. [I had many Indian classmates who must have thoroughly enjoyed the lectures and tutotials for this play.]

No. Sweeny Todd is a classic victorian legend on the city of London. There are lots of bloody plays like Titus Andronicus on literature history.
