I think it would be a great idea in the "just in case" factor to have a locking mechanism of some sort to ensure the door stays closed. Incase of the many things that happen in life happens. Co-workers bumps it, u/I drop it, or even if it got knocked off the shelf. It would even be a bit better if we can LOCK it cause there r some co-workers our there that r rude enough to take our food. It has happen to me.
If I get this Im even thinkin of a strap with a Key Lock on it. It happens!
This DOES NOT work plugged into a cigarette lighter. Everything I saw indicated that this would work plugged into my cigarette lighter. It's not till you buy it that you find out that it must have a 20 amp system to work on, which no vehicle has. Any vehicle I know of has a 15 amp system and this will blow out the fuse faster than you can say, This sucks!
@tsfeekes plug it in directly to the battery if you only have 15 amp. really its nothing a 30 amp 2000 watt inverter cant do on a normal microwave. you need 2000 for start and 1000 running on most microwaves maybe a bit less maybe a bit more. this will drain your battery fast. 5-10 minuts at most on a single battery. my 2 deep cycles on my rv can handle the load but it will take a good chunk from the charge.
