What I object to is a change over to low end hardware on the users side with no local storage, just a browser, then all applications run in the browser and all your files stored on remote servers. This effectively turns your PC into a dummy terminal. I don't want a machine that can not operate with local content, with no local storage (or very little), less processing power etc.
