You feel if your horse is a bit fast the solution is to give him no head to stretch over the fence? here's a crazy idea for you - Schooling.

totally inspired! My quarter horse is like 14.2 and the other day I tried jumping him and neither of us have ever jumped before and he went over it with perfect form!!! I was so shocked! and now that i've seen this i'm definitely gonna show jump with him!

@malteser97 if you watched any of her other videos the pony jumps in an outline all the time, her hands are slightly up the neck and in the correct position, if she was holding her to tight honey would have her mouth open in discomfort, top rider with a pingy poney, shes doing nothing wrong. if the mare was being held to tightly it wouldnt of jumped 1m35 with ease.

the pony has a lot of jump in her step! but you need to tach her to take off at the right time and before the jump not to take over! but shes a good looking pony and with a little more work with the take off and little things like that she'll be like wonder pony!

Holy moley, that pony can JUMP. :-)

My very hot TB did well in that bit when I used it like a double bridle with a rein in the snaffle ring and then a curb rein on the lowest ring in addition. Just a thought you could try if you like. :-)

@malteser97 The horse just seems to naturally pull his head back when jumping. It doesn't look like the rider is pulling at all when they get to the jump. While jumping around :33 the reins are even loose when the horse pulls her head back.

Obviously you don't know anything about riding... Most likely some beginner ass rider that thinks they know everything. This pony wants to go fast, you have to hold them. You don't know this pony, she could get seriously fast after the jump. If she -really- had a problem with the person not giving a bigger release over the jump, i am sure she would pretty much rip her arm off. I know from experience. You never know, this pony could jump like this. Dont say things when your not sure.
