You should try Suraya cream henna. It colors better than the product you use, and it can be used as often as you like, because it's natural. I have used Ms Clairol Beautiful Semi-permanent hair color, and it feels like it may have some sort of chemical in it. I don't get that with the cream henna. I have a sensitive scalp. And I, like you I only have a patch of grey to color. You might want to try Suraya Cream Henna. I usually have to purchase mine online, because I live in a small town.

No no no.. Mrs. Dezi you do not look like a hot mess.. that could never happen. You are to sharp for that! But that Clariol in the bottle didn't work for me.. it colored my few grays for about a week and then it was gone. And it didn't even dye them dark black like I prefer! I use Natural Instincts. It's a semi-permanent that doesn't cause the hair a bunch of damage and that works much better. I just use one of the black tones.

a good brand to use is called BIGEN. it cover ur grey hair well. ive used that on my mother before and it works.

@MzNettie910 Did you know that BIGEN is full of chemicals that are harsh ? They pass it off like it's not but if you do research on the ingredients.. you will be shocked. I highly suggest that you try Natural Instincts..that's much less damaging in the long run. I used BIGEN for years and it did work well. But then I started doing research on what I was putting in my hair and found out BIGEN is not a gentle as they claim. Not trying to tell you what to do..just offering another perspective.

I also color just the front of my hair and i perm just the front of my hair as well. My hair is sensitive and I noticed after a while my edges started to thin. SO, please watch your hairline. What I ended up doing is I started using the russell spray in color in black, now since I wear wigs/weave and just leave out no more then 2 inches, you hold the can about say 4 inches from your hair line and spray. It washed out,I wear a scarf as normal, keep in mind as an alternate when you don't dye.
