  • I have loved and respected this woman's work since I was a little boy. I don't know where to start. . .A black woman with business savy, street smarts, elegance, musical genius, beauty, grace AND A HIP HOP PIONEER!!! For the Robinson and Vanderpool familys you know you have my deepest sympathy and I am grieving with you. This woman's nephews are like brothers to me and I know other members of this wonderful family. Where have you gone Mrs Robinson...Jesus loves and so do we...

  • JESUS CHRIST MOBY!, let a person know WHERE you get your sound bites from!!!!

  • rip

  • Well as one gets older one mind's gets worse. The first time heard Moby's Sunday (the day before my birthday) could not think for the life of me where I had first heard it until Wikipeadia on Moby reminded me it was Sylvia Robinson. This version is beautiful really it is but it comes second to Moby's version.

  • I need to go to the Oldies shop and find her music. Reconstructing my 70s music will take some careful time...

    Ammo

  • @firstchoice1956 Good luck

  • @electromind1 oh electromind its not a problem. the oldies shop out here near me takes you back in time as soon as you walk through the door and they have the goods believe me. I was in shock when I found the place.

Rasputin Records. They are no joke. I even found the old movies we use to go and see, Coffee, trouble man, That Man Bolt, Shaft, and more. If you go in this place expecting to do an in and out you, you have deceived yourself deeply. Once inside there is no hope. Hopefully in an hour

  • @firstchoice1956 May I recommend: DJ Rodgers, Baby Huey, Ol' Jimi Hendrix, Curtis Mayfield, and of course War's album Why cant we be friends. Good music.
