Each religion carries with it the corruption of the question 'What happens when we die?' The truth, it doesn't matter. Religions tell you something like 'if you're good, you get to go to the toy-store all the time!' Really, '"You" are not your body, but the sum-total of all the things you make that body do. When you can't operate that body anymore, you are forsaken/taken-care-of based on the things you made that body do. "Those things" is where your spirit thrives, not some imaginary place!'
@LIFESKEY I guess I'm partly talking to myself, telling myself how to respond to all these people around me who are like "You gotta call The Divine Voice one o the names WE give ya (and you gotta believe our stories), or else ya CAIN'T GO TA HEAVEN WHEN YA DIE!" I might respond, 'So, if I unendingly commit atrocities, but "praise that name" with every new one; I'm your king, yes?' To which they'd answer yes or no, either way with me telling them 'then shut up!' Life isn't about 'when yer dead!'
@mythmanjay well the thing is LIFE is not separated by manifestation and non manifestation in the physical world. LIFE is always in existence and birth & death are the characteristics of LIFE. The conditions LIFE exists in at any given time accords with the good or bad circumstances it is expressing at that particular time, which is according to the law Cause and Effect and that individual good or bad karma content. Death like sleep can be peaceful or otherwise. Either way LIFE still exists. :o)
@LIFESKEY umm, yes, Life IS TOO separated by manifestation and non-manifestation in the physical world. I observe things in the physical world, and change my manifestation (the real actions of my physical body) or not as I choose to according to those physical observations and my expectation of resulting physical reactions from others. I'm with the Nichiren Buddhists here, who promulgate that the Buddha's nature is within each of us, that the Buddha(s) before us are training us to be Buddhas.
@mythmanjay Myo is the unfathomable nature of all life from one moment to the next. It is something that the mind is unable to comprehend and there are just no words that can truly define it. If we try to study our own mind at any given moment we will not see any particular colour or shape to confirm that it exists. But even though this is so, we still cannot say that it does not exist due to the countless thoughts that are continuously happening within it.
@mythmanjay 2 of 2. Life is an indefinable mystery that reaches far beyond the conceptualisation of being and not–being. Even though it cannot be proven to either exist or not exist, it still discloses the attributes of both.
It is the mystic entity of the Middle Way that is the supreme and true reality.
@mythmanjay Chanting the words Nam–myoho–renge–kyo vibrates a specific sound frequency that not only permeates the universe and allows us to connect with Life’s forces more effectively, but also see things much more clearly within.
Sometimes in our dreams and imaginations we can travel to places or experience imaginary wonder that goes far beyond the physical world. Our mind is not restricted to the physical world.
@mythmanjay For example we can imagine falling from a 20 story building and hitting the ground. We can do this without any physical damage, but if we did it physically we would not survive. Sometimes we dream about things that are so unrealistic, yet so real, that it can leave us confused and effect us for days. This is because LIFE has no limitations - it never ends. Life in this world is like a dream within a dream.
@mythmanjay Often when we see, feel or hear something, we mistake it for something else (sometimes several times) before we can correctly identify what or who it actually is. So much more goes on within our mind than in our physical self & surroundings. Sometimes we think of many ways to do or say something before actually doing or saying it. This can happen in a matter of seconds or minutes, but if we actually had to physically do everything we think of first before deciding it could take days
The Universe, according to Buddha, is governed by one single umbrella law based on the science and rhythm of cause and effect, and he said that mankind would eventually prove this.
This law which should be chanted by the human voice is called;
Nam Myoho Renge Kyo.
By chanting aloud every day for at least 10 minutes, one can put oneself into perfect rhythm with the Universe, and therby gain insights, wisdom, energy, happiness and benefits that would be otherwise not be available to us.
i really wish you wouldn't of treated this subject like we are babies. You have good information but I could not even watch the whole video you made this seem like a little bit of a joke.
I'm sorry u feel this way Ronny. Nichiren wrote that his teaching should be taught according to the place and time. We now live in an age where animation is used to explain many issues. We've chosen to use this method to help teach the Law & many people appear to have enjoyed it - not everyone of course. But it is possible to lower the volume & just read. Maybe you've been a bit selfish here & need to chant re your neg comments? Have u contributed in here for kosen rufu? :o)
@LIFESKEY i have no problem with animation, but obnoxious voices are extremely distracting! Your rite tho i never thought about muting the volume! And I am quite the negative person that is why I enjoy chanting, it makes me feel better. I hope i did not come off to rude and like i said the information you have is top notch!
@chansirlong Yes you are absolutely right! But then, don't u also think my criticism was a little constructive as well?
Anyway if it makes u feel better, it's certainly had a positive outcome as ronnyboy and I have since become friends, so maybe it was all meant to happen...:o)
Thank u and please enjoy your day... :o) NMRK from my heart to yours...
I agree that this seems to target children which as you pointed out, means not everyone will enjoy it. Maybe if the characters talked a little more clearly and didn't have as much of a "ditsy" tone in their voice, people of all ages would be able to relate a little easier. Nameste
@FreedomFightersUnion Perhaps you have over looked the fact that you have the choice of turning down the volume and reading instead. I'm sorry you have been so disappointed. Thank u for your comment and please enjoy your day. :o)
Lifeskey is right. I was certainly sceptical. I did chant though, I tried it. I have now been a member of this faith for less than a year. It is nice to actually find a faith that is for the better with no judgement. You don't find a lot of religions that actually can make you a better person that's for certain.
No one can truly answer that for certain shivac - but according to Buddha we are able to change our karma and reach our enlightenment in this life if we correctly adhere to the practise and the teachings of Nam myoho renge kyo. In this case we would expiate our disabilities and such. We live in an age where medical science is jumping leaps and bounds and therefore, it may be possible for many disabilities to be rectified even in this life.
I strongly encourage you to chant Nam myoho renge kyo with your heart and soul each day and put your faith in the law and not any person as such. This law underlies everything and everyone - work for the benifit of this law and it will do likwise for you - it's the law of cause and effect that will see that this is the case. And never consider anything to be impossible - believe & it shall come when the timing is right. Alternatively, if its not good for u, u'll realise it and change your desire
If that's a digeridoo I hear, it's so perfect for daimoku! It almost seems as if this instrument is meant to reflect the vibration of daimoku! The voices do get annoying quickly tho, and I'm guilty too as I've posted video as Granny Tenderstone with a similar device!
Great message, began chanting in 1986 myself.
Good fortune to you.
Love the way the LOTUS title was used! Law Of The UniverSe !!
Surely surely with all them green thumbs its worth thinking of making two versions with maybe with a nice soft voice over on one . thank you and Bless you . Peace
Thank you for posting this. I received my Gohonzon a year ago and my little boy is beginning to show a lot of interest in Nichiren Buddhism, so I'll sit down with him and watch this.
Just chant Nam myoho renge kyo and discover in your own life what a wonderful asset it is to you. You will definitely get proof in and around your life that something very powerful is taking effect for the better, even though it may sometimes mean you have to cross a few bumpy spots to get on the right track to your true happiness. Try it and see - even if you don't believe it. Cuz it won't let you down and you will receive actual proof in your life... :o))
“It doesn’t matter how much good we’ve done, one bad enough deed could have the potential to seriously damage or even completely contaminate our accumulated good fortune in an instant...This can often happen to us in a similar way to how a raging fire can damage or destroy even the most beautiful of forests...”
Thank you for your kind words. I am so glad you guys have enjoyed this and it has helped you understand the wisdom of Nichiren's Buddhism. Please try and get to hear the other 6 segments - 4 are up now and 2 more are on the way in the next few days. Love to hear what you think if you have time. Please enjoy a happy life and if you haven't already discovered, try chanting Nam myoho renge kyo and see the difference it makes...:o)
Thank you Lifeskey:) A beautiful message in simple form, easy to listen and understand. The animal audio in the background makes it even more nicer and I loved the music. I like everything about this video. Thank you!
Hehe I'm glad you think so mont. A squeaky voice make sure you hear, and besides, there are lots of animated movies with squeaky voices. You should have seen the state of the old cocky by the time he finished nerating the book. We had to stick pins in him to get it finished ;o))

awesome. Yeah, definitely made for kids, but it still gets the points across. Entirely logical...
Much more sensible then the stagnant constipation of an eternal hell/heaven. Just doesn't "flow" like the rest of nature.
