Ford almost bought ferrari in the 60's. Ferrari want to keep their people in the race part and ford did not. after the deal fell through, ford built the gt 40 to kick the hell out of ferrari, which it did. The ford is for the hardcore driver. The ferrari is for status and style. Both cars are amazing, but the ford is just faster.

perhaps, since it is a scuderia, but I know the FGT has a way higher top end, I think top speed for a stock FGT is around 210, some have claimed higher. I know in a quarter a FGT should beat or at least come close to a scuderia, although the scud will whip it around a track. I'm not saying that either one of those cars is bad, it's just I thought a FGT driven correctly would have won,
