  • Great video, i really enjoyed watching it.

    Well done

  • nice!!

  • MashaAllah, this is good, they covering their chest, not like other hijab because lots of them don't cover their chest.. this is so good,, finally i found real hijab style Alhamdulillah thanks sisters

  • These girls are too concerned with style and how they look (in hijab).

  • theyre still wearing in it in a decent way and atleast they're trying! which is important. and let Allah judge plllease!

  • salam sisther mashallah very sweed

  • Sister, you do this so fast you can't see what you are doing? Could you remake how to do it.

So I can see exactly how u do this insha ALlah.

  • looks really good thanks for that, will be trying it myself hope all goes well lol!

  • sorry that just looks dumb, feel sorry for the girl she looks embarssed!

  • Everyone is different :)

  • See, we're stylists! :D

    Thanks girls, it's great!

  • why God hasn,t create Eve حواءmother of all mankind with hijab,4 u Muhammed,s wivesأمهات المؤمنين themselves were without hijab Hadith البخارىnever had included Hijab word, only once word Hijab had mentioned inQuran الحجاب فى سورة الحجراتwas meant just a curtain 4 open home doors, never had meant type of women,s dress or hair,s covers ,other any interpretaion is just a fraud 4 ignorant dear as apart of women,s persecution, discrimiation in Islam

  • lol, eve was the mother of all mankind... y will some one look at her with lust .. u moron :s.. and yes if there wasnt hijab the world would be at its end.. hijab has built a safe guard for women, taqwa, respekt... hijab is one of the greatest gifts to mankind.. stop being too liberal ..koz one day your gonna end up being kafir

  • Well maybe women just like wearing hijab so they don't get stared at by creeps all the time! It's a lot better for that than wearing mini skirts.

  • yea i agree ...

  • why is there music

  • why not

  • because it's forbidden no???

  • i really wonder cuz hijab is to COVER the beauty not to make a beauty

hijab root in Arabic حجب (hajaba) which means to COVER

  • Islam also said to look good. Allah has given those girls a ift in fashion, why not use it? Beauty is when we speak of the human body -that's beauty. But it's just cotton over cotton.

    Good looks help self-esteem. ^.^

  • Allah loves beauty! it doesnt mean u kover your beauty.. it you kovering your attraktivness, the bit that makes the man chase u ..

  • jakaum allah khayr, but why is it black and white???

  • thats a lot of layering

  • masha allah it brings tears of joy to my eyes to see sisters in hijab..thats the most beautiful thing in the world :"-(

  • Salaam guys where can u get the plastic beak thingy they were talking about in the third bit??

  • the girl of the medle looks like scared

  • Style 3 is beautiful MashAllah

  • Asalamualaikum sister Im a new Hijabi...and the summer is approaching what is the best type of material to wear that is not so warm as the pashminas?

  • chiffon :D

  • really? i thought it was cotton because i heard that cotton was the best fabric that lets air go through easily?

  • well it does but in summer chiffon/linen and cotton are all great.

  • oh wow i did not know that. thanks for the tip now i can have more options than just cotten hahahaha

  • Thanks for the Video I tried Style 3 today lol mine came out more ghetto lookin lol kinda slanted but hey MashaAllah people said it looked nice...

  • that last one was really pretty

  • Yeah MashAllah the last one was really pretty gonna try that tomorrow Inshaallah..lol

  • I like the background music, do you know who it is or where i could find something similar?

    Thanx ^__^

  • sorry, i'm not sure... I guess you coud try watching the credits at the end of the show when its aired?? :)

  • i think that this is a nice show for the sisters!! but even wearing hijab has its criteria!!! of course it cant be LOUD as to attract unwanted attention but you can still look nice and meet the requirements of hijab, its also good for people who want to do different styles or dont know how to wrap their kimars

  • hijab=covering hair+covering body+wear somthing cover ur legs totaly(not bantlon)

  • yeah nice styles.but sorry sister but looks like u have a camels hump at the back of your head.

  • agreed and we all know very well the hadith about the women of hell fire who's heads look like camel humps

  • hijab cannot be wearing with the active colors or don't know name in english hijab must be wearing with the colors look like(black -brawn-not with cloros like red or high blue or with that things wich look like small lamps^^sorry for my bad english..translated from (how the hijab should be) arabic version.so i cannot speak english :D

  • Actually you're right brother, Hijaab isn't a zeena (beauty) itself. No attractive colors or shining brooches.. All of these stuff dont match with hijaab. Hijaab is hiding her beauty not beautifying her.

  • oumayy selam walekum wah rahmetullahi wa barakatu..I couldn't have said it better ..i totally agree..But the video was cool learning diff hijabi styles.. peace be with you.

  • Not true...the shayukh have agreed if it is accepted within that culture, than it is fine. Like in malaysia, Muslim women wear like fusia, green, orange, very bright colours. It all depends on your society, if its the norm and doesnt contradict what hijab is suppose to symbolize tha its ok. Its like the whole thing with if men can braid or grow their hair. The prophet (pbuh) did when he went into battle (two braids). It depends on the situation in this case...plus if it doesnt conflict with ur..

  • it depends on the culture or society. Plus situation as well.

  • wow beautiful i wanna try it..

  • thanks that was helpful! :) x

  • thank you for these videos i was kind of looking for these styles thanxs!!!

    peace be with you all

  • i wear it clip style almost every day

  • OOPS! That's taLking.

  • eh kheir which means???look you can read it how u want it is not permissible for the women to beautify themselves outside of their homes for non mahram men,if our mothers the wives of the prophet saw dressed a certain way and were taught how to dress directly from the prophet saw which means they knew better than us and that we have to follow them.stop following your desires don't try to speak for Allah it is a major sin,and don't mislead others please.

  • 1.Beauty is in the eye of the beholder.

    2. The reason y the women dressed the way they did @ that time is becuz of the DUH... ENVIROMENT! *DING!

    3. If I read it how "I wanted" as u say, could u please xplain what that Sura[7:31] means?

4.How is it a major sin for quoting a Sura/Ayatt frm the Quran? I'm not =ing

myself to Allah(Shirk) so what r u taking abt?????

  • please show the last one slower i could'nt even see it. It was too fast.

  • The first two I'm familiar with...but I really want to try that last one..it looks sooo cool!!!

  • i dont use Hijab all the time but this is so beautiful :) thank you so much for this :)

  • cool vid, Jazakllah for sharing sis

  • Have the best life you can.

  • subhanaAllah may Allah guide us all, those so called hijabs multicolored with shiny pins and what have you,co-ordinated colors, what's the purpose of hijab then if u r all dressed up?and yes ALLAH loves beauty but with guidelines when we go outside of our houses, make up plucking of the eyebrows are all haram, and tight bright scarves with jeans or skirts are not hijab, dont be a fashion victim just FEAR ALLAH and stop rewritting this deen and asking for evidences then denying them its in the qu'ran

  • true...so true.

  • I agree with you!

  • Allah(SWT)says[7:31]"Oh Children of Adam!"

"Wear your beautiful apparel at every time and

    place of prayer....."

    Allah speaks the TRUTH! Ameen!

  • i rele lyked d las one..bt it does luk quite fiddley! wil try i.a

  • the last 1 style...it so nice & beautiful...maybe i should try it.....;))

  • i would like to try the first one out, it was really cute and beautiful :)

  • dat was just beautiful ..

  • Inshallah, I'll try that second style soon...

    :o)

  • Thank you for the tips. Learning to hijab properly is hard.

  • It doesn't have to be, just take your time and relax with it. Sometimes it just won't go in a position that you want it but try to alter it and it will be fine. There are many tricks the shaitaan can play and getting frustrated with it is on....tc!

  • As-Salam Alaikum Wa Rahmatuliahi Wa Barakatuh,Jazakallahu khair.Masha'allah great video.

  • Strange!

  • how do you mean??

  • Assalam Alaikum- If a Hadith is not confirmed by the HIGHEST AUTHORITY which is the Quran,Allah's(SWT) words, then it is to b dismissed. It's just that simple.

  • I think what you're trying to say is that if a hadith goes against the Quran that it's to be dismissed. As you know the hadiths are the sayings of the prophet(saw), as brought down to us by the campanions of the prophet (saw). Also, the Quran tells us to obey Allah and his messenger. Jazakallah Khayr.

  • But kheir01 is right because the Hadith are transmitted by HUMANS- over HUNDREDS or years to other HUMANS - it is a human driven chain - and therefore inevitably there WILL be inaccuracies in even the hadith of Bukhari/Muslim/whatever other hadith books there are. This is absolutely inevitable and logical - we cannot afford to put all the weight on ANY hadith alone - if they are not in line with the core Islamic principles from the Quran, it is safe (InshaAllah) to pay them no attention.

  • The hadiths in Bukhari and Muslim have been verifed as being authentic. The scholars have analysed the the chains of these hadiths by checking if if the people who passed each narration on was known as an honest person, and if they actually met each other. They trace it back to the campanions of the prophet p.b.u.h and thus the narrations can be traced back to the prophet p.b.u.h. That's how it works. So the hadith do hold a lot of weight, and help us to practise and preserve the sunnah.

  • OKAY!!

  • LOL I know it is kind of strange?

  • not kina its REALLY strange..

  • Hijabs are cool.

  • Oh I wanna get married.... Inshallah

  • lollll...random

    but...inshallah...

  • HAhahaha it is random eh? lol Mashallah funny.

Inshallah, I want a pious wife.

    =)

  • the girl in the middle has gorgoues eyesss

  • jasakallah, ill make sure my lovely mum checks this out

  • Im jewish - but i take a lot of inspiration from islam when it comes to how to dress modestly. I really love hijab but its not the norm in my faith so i comprimise and wear as scarf tied at the back for the office but when ever i go out on the street i wear a longer scarf over it. I wish i could wear full hijab all the time but its too much explaining to people. This video is great - are there more ?

  • I take a lot of inspiration from traditional Jewish clothing. I think it's great that in the West we can mix it up, an African this with a Turkish that, and a little biker chick chic for the weekends.

Aside from religious obligation to keep your dress distinctively Jewish, if that is your choice, dress as you like. It's your body, your comfort, your conscience. You need explain nothing to anyone, and if they insist, smile sweetly, point to your covered ears and apologize for not hearing.

  • Why do you care what people think of you sis. Hijab is beautiful. You don't have to explain nothing to any body, you are your own person. Experience the dress of modesty, Its nothing like it.

  • pffff my God a lot of women think that hijab is fashion you did mistake hijab is for see nothing on the body of the woman, are you mad to try to bee beautiful or other with hijab, The colors used draw the eye congratulation The hijab must be broad and not tight in the neck or hair please stop all theres movies

  • This is simply help on how to wear different styles. It is then up to the woman to make it within the guidelines of Islam e.g. what colour to use, shapes and so forth. It has to be tight on some areas otherwise it would fall right off - this is hardly halal is it?

  • what u said doesnt make much sense :s

  • All three women are perfectly covered, showing nothing but hands and face. No where does the Koran say we have to make ourselves ugly. Have you not heard the hadith in which people complained of a Muslima wearing a beautiful red dress every day? Look it up. Did the Prophet pbuh tell her she had to look like a drab? Or did he tell people to let her be? "God is Beautiful, and loves beauty in all things".

  • wOW I watch City Sisters ever Tue i like the show it gives really cool tips

  • beautiful!!

  • Any time =^_^=

  • Salam, i have a question, i wear my Hijab behind my ear, is it a must i wear my hijab over my ears, this is comfortable for me, this is why i wear it like this. This question for anyone who can answer it.. Thanks

  • It is obligatory to wear it over your ears. Maybe try it in a few different ways or use caps underneath etc to help. You do get used to it after a short period, make dua and inchallah all will be fine :D

  • just wondering.. where is it obligatiory to wear it over ears? is it in the hadiths, or rather a cultural code? thanx salaam

  • Not culture - religion. Quran and Hadith.

  • my fiancé says the Quran says to cover oneself. I saw this verse, it does not mention the ears.

  • But there's a hadith which states that the hands and face are the only body parts that a woman may show in public. Also, the word "jilbab" is used in the Quran ukhti, so we should wear jilbabs or so-called "umberella hijabs".

  • pls tell me what that hadith is?

  • Narrated Aisha, Ummul Mu'minin: Asma bint Abu Bakr, entered upon the Apostle of Allah while she was wearing thin clothes. The Apostle of Allah turned his attention from her. He said: O Asma', when a woman reaches the age of menstruation, it does not suit her that she displays her parts of body except this and this, and he pointed to her face and hands.[4] Sunnan Abu Dawud 32:4092

  • thank u... when did the Prophet say this, and what is the context and the cause of this Hadith?

  • I don't know sis. I'll have to do resaech to find the answers to these questions, but the hadith is quite clear about what needs to be covered.

  • then I will tell you... The hadith was written before the descent of the Qur'an. hadiths that came before the Qur'an are not really applicable.

  • Do you have proof for this? What do you think about this hadith then: Narrated Umm Salama Hind bint Abi Umayya, Ummul Mu'minin: When the verse "That they should cast their outer garments over their persons" was revealed, the women of Ansar came out as if they had crows over their heads by wearing outer garments.[5] Sunnan Abu Dawud 32:4090?

  • continued: What about this hadith: Narrated Safiya bint Shaiba: 'Aisha used to say: "When (the Verse): "They should draw their veils over their necks and bosoms," was revealed, (the ladies) cut their waist sheets at the edges and covered their faces with the cut pieces."[6] Sahih Bukhari 6:60:282, Sunnan Abu Dawud 32:4091?

  • Good video...

There is this video on youtube teaching Arab women how to wear Hijab..The funny thing is that the lesson was taught by a non Hijabi..lol

I believe she worte a book on it, and gives courses..lol

It's like Hijabs are almost like hair now adays...How to style it, what color goes with which type of face, what types of earrings one should wear...lol

    Anyway, thanks for sharing =^_^=

  • I know it was sorta complicated...

You could use a headpiece with 2 colors, and then wear your normal scarf on top...Much easier =^_^=

  • NICE

    THANK U

  • It is 2 pashmina scarves. Or any other two which are the same and length and shape in a different material :) If there are no shops close to you, maybe you could try online??

  • Thanks for sharing sis =D

  • mashallah cool...apart frm the MUSIC...ARGGGH! NT GUD CHOICE. i recommend u put sum 'nbn' how can u deny. dats a catchy n cool tune. k thanx 4 postin. x

  • eek, I didn't make it!! look >>>> :)

  • oh...oh...OHHH! KK lol :)

  • mashallah mashallah allah akbar al 7amad allah

  • pretty cool, obvious when u think about it but i didn't realise how much thought can do into hajib - i see some girls who have definately chosen wrong style! chipmonk cheeks majorly emphasised - well it doesn't matter in the end i suppose but i like the thought going into the application of design here

  • Oh! i forgot, 5/5 *****! :)

  • to anyone who knows her: Tell WhisperOfdeen, that OurBestLife Showed me her channel and i subbed. but her friend lock is on so i cant communicate. )O( Blessed Be :) Peace!

  • i like the third style

  • hijab is not a fashion thing, it is a symbol of islam and modesty, many sisters confuse that. However it helps us to know how to put the hijabs in a stabile way. Jazak Allah khayr!

  • Cool ... I only do the 1st style, cause I find it much easier to do. However, after seeing this great vid, I might try the two hijab peice style (it looks sooooo beautiful)!! :D

  • salam my dear

jazzakallah khair for this nice clip:)

  • wOw!excellent!:)

  • this is awesome sis, thanks. =]

  • Salam sis .. Jazak ALLAH Khair for this video!! MashALLAH its great! :O) (saved to favourites + 5 stars!)

  • asak w.r w.b sis!

mashaALLAH all ur videos are really gud...dis is juz an addition to ur awesome work... :)

i cn wear da 1st nd da secnd 1...though i wear da frst one only...its really nice..!

    JazakAllah!

  • The third style is pretty hard to do.. I can only do the square hijab by myself, my mom has to help me do other hijab styles.

  • Yeah, after the amirah hijabs my next one I learnt what the square. I usually wear the first style through but how the lady has a big flappy bit at the side I bring mine up and pin above my ear. If the hijab has tassles then they drop down and look nice. It's just an alternative than putting a brooch on :) I tried the third, i looks one of the best I think but it is time consuming and really is a winter style, unless you get v.light material.

  • Masha Allah!

    keep up the good work!

  • Jazak'allah Khair...wonderful video thank you for this...And to Charityrose2 us muslim women can wear what we like as long as it is modest and not revealing.....

  • It is good for a women to be modest.....do you women ever wear trousers?????

  • What kind of question is that? We wear trousers the majority of the time. If you see a woman with a Jilbab (dress) then she would have something on underneath.

  • yes it is good 2 be honest

and lol yes we can wear trousers :s

  • oops i meant modest

anyways i like the way they did the last hijab :D

  • I'll think about doing a vid on how to wear a topi!!! :)

  • asalamu alaikum

that 3rd one looks like something you have to wait to wear until winter. LOL. thank you for posting this video. its awesome. 5*s!

  • lol yeah, unless you buy really light and thin material :)

  • SalaamAlaikum, very beautiful Sister, MASHALLAH.

  • Thankyou for posting this it will really help. I am sorry my video is taking so long...I live in a very rural area and our only car bit the dust so I have been actually stuck at home and have not had the opportunity to try this in town yet. In the mean time I am thinking of trying it here at home and hopefully this weekend in town :o). Thankyou again Jammie

  • yeah cool, that's no problem. btw you know the second one they showed you? That is the one I was trying to explain to you before lol, did you realise??

  • nice!! thank you sister

    jazaki Allah Khayran
